Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) is ready for an enthralling pay-per-view (PPV) event tomorrow night (Sat., Feb. 28, 2015) as UFC 184 takes over the Staples Center in Los Angeles, California. Prior to tomorrow's big event, UFC brass opted to break some exciting news following this afternoon's official weigh-ins (results here).
Dan Henderson -- who is 1-5 in his last six bouts -- will look to get back on the winning track as he faces off against No. 14 ranked Tim Boetsch at UFC Fight Night 68 in New Orleans, Louisiana.
But that's not all.
Heavyweight contenders looking to break into the top five will throw down in the "Big Easy" as Matt Mitrione returns to face off against the streaking Ben Rothwell. A lightweight tilt was also announced for the Fight Night card, as Joe Proctor and Justin Edwards will look to pick up a big victory this Summer.
From UFC:
In an intriguing heavyweight showdown, Matt Mitrione will put his three-fight knockout streak on the line against Ben Rothwell, who is coming off the biggest win of his UFC career, a knockout of Alistair Overeem last September.
Also added to the card, which is headlined by the light heavyweight matchup between Daniel Cormier and Ryan Bader, is a middleweight bout pitting MMA superstar Dan "Hendo" Henderson against the hard-charging "Barbarian," Tim Boetsch, and a lightweight scrap between former Ultimate Fighter competitors Joe Proctor and Justin Edwards.
UFC Fight Night 68 is headlined by a light heavyweight tilt between former No. 1 contender Daniel Cormier and The Ultimate Fighter (TUF) winner Ryan Bader live on FOX Sports 1 (FS1) from the Smoothie King Center on June 6, 2015 in New Orleans, Louisiana.
