Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) featherweight Ricardo Lamas scored arguably the biggest win of his career last night (Jan. 26, 2013) at UFC on FOX 6, which took place at the United Center in Chicago, Ill., knocking out the highly regarded Erik Koch in the second round.
Lamas dismantled Koch in just seven in a half minutes, continuously trying to impose his will until he got "New Breed" in a bad situation and unleashed with a relentless onslaught of punches and elbow strikes until referee "Big" John McCarthy mercifully stopped the fight.
With consecutive victories over Cub Swanson, Hatsu Hioki and now Koch, "The Bully" has established himself as one of the top contenders in the featherweight division and will be keeping a close eye on the winner of the UFC 156 main event between Jose Aldo and Frankie Edgar.
