alright guys, UFC 101 is now upon us and as most of you know, 15or 16 maniacs have a luxury box for this event. We are also planning to have a nice dinner friday night followed by some gentlemanly fun! If you want to join us for dinner (either Ruth’s Chris or capitol grill) please email me! I think one guy misunderstood me for saying I was buying, I’m NOT! I don’t exactly have 2k laying around for dinner. Whether you’re in the suite with us or just in Philly, you’re welcome to join us for dinner. I also have 1 more ticket available for the suite.

RSVP by friday so that I can make reservations!

Hey Dana, is there anyone else on the show besides Kimbo? For someone is wasnt took impressed with Kimbo, he sure is using him a his marketing tool.

Big fan of Kimbo? Wow what a tool Quarry is.

Quarry was extremely generous and approachable when I met him at the UFC Fan Expo. Someone isn’t a tool just because he’s enjoyed watching another fighter. Kimbo’s backyard brawls were legendary, and extremely fun to watch.

Kimbo got caught with a punch. So did GSP. It happens. Let’s see what the bearded one can do on TUF and get to know Kimbo as a person. He has my respect for wading into a difficult season of fighters.

So is Kimbo being pushed as a spokesman already or what? He is great in backyards but c’mon.

and many ppl still can’t see the similarities over EXC promoting him too much and the new TUF season… I like to call them sheeps.

He has to earn a spot in the UFC, Elite XC had him in the main event on like 4 cards!!! Not the same there genius!!

right, and in the meantime you see kimbo having more air time than both coaches on the commercial. I’m talking about marketing values, which was the main problem ppl had with kimbo. but I understand you don’t see my point, caesar, DW sheep…

Marketing the fighters over the coaches isn’t a new thing…. How much did you see GSP during The Comeback, that may as well have been Team Serra.

TUF is about drama and ratings. This isn’t a new thing.

except we’re talking about a guy who got trashed by DW on multiple ocasions saying he is not a ‘real fighter’ and yet he’s getting more publicity than two former champions… yes, TUF is all drama, but you guys are still very biased.

Just saw a Dana interview where he assures us this is the best television ever and the best season by far. This time I’m thinking it might actually be true, because there are some real personalities on this season. But just once I’d like to hear Dana tell us an upcoming fight or show might not be the most awesome occurence since Japan surrendered.

I was surfing Yahoo at work today. News, Mania, and comics are about the only things I surf at work. Anyway I found this one of get fuzzy and it made laugh thinking about how mainstream MMA is starting to beomce. Sorry I don’t think it’ll hyper link tho.

I’m really hyped up for this season. It would be interesting to see how far would they go w/o imploding being locked up inside the house with each other.
But I think the fights would be a snoozefest.
