Man, I would love to see Kimbo vs Royce Gracie! Now that I would pay for, it would be like the UFC of old…and their abilities are possibly close in terms of where you would rank them in the world of MMA these days.

Royce would kill him. Kimbo even admitted to training very little on the ground, so if Royce gets him there, it is just a matter of time.

I was there today. It was pretty cool, got mad signatures and pics with a bunch of fighters. The UFC booth was about an hour wait so I didnt try that. There were a BUNCH of meat faces there today also. So Kevin you are half right, but it was awesome to meet some of the guys like Carwin, Cain, Swick, Lashley, and so on.
Aren’t there a lot of supplement companies handing out free shit? I know some people don’t care too much about that, but I always get as much shit as possible from those companies. haha.

had a ton of respect that dana dissed this guy but then he became a hypocrit by putting this fool on this show. he’s not even good enough to be on tuff. he’s a 35 year old thug that is a black eye for the sport and hopefully he brings in new fans but as someone who followed mma for a while, i cant stand seeing him get this platform but hey thats business. hopefully dana just uses him to draw some ratings and he gets bounced outta the ufc faster than he came in.
This is an absolute no brainer/win win situation for dana!!! Kimbo comes on, Dana gets the ratings he wants. Kimbo wins (won’t happen) he gets a fighter. BUT…if Kimbo loses….Dana will use that as a big ‘ol f u to all the people who think Kimbo is the greatest ever, and who might then in turn watch UFC cuz their favorite fighter got his butt handed to him.

Relax dude. Worse fighters have been on TUFF. I mean…it’s TUFF! Its not like they put homeboy straight onto a card. He may never even have an official fight in the octagon.
actually some reports are claiming that he has a signed ufc deal for after tuf is over regardless of the outcome on the show. I know keith jardine had the same thing with the ufc when he was on tuf 2. im sure kimbo will get at least one ufc fight no matter what happens, even if its on the finale on a fight night card.
why are you “sure of that?” Dana has specifically said the only way Kimbo will fight in the UFC is to win TUF!
He never said he had to win the show, he just said he had to go thru the ultimate fighter.
fighters like kimbo started this sport. how much different is he than a lot of the men that participated in ufc’s 1-10. i don’t see anything wrong with there being a place for him.
It takes a big man to do what he is doing. I hope that dana doesn’t F him over in the end by just using him for ratings.
how would that be using him? using him would be putting him as headliner of a UFN against an opponent that will kill him and paying him 25k.

Yes that is a fair shot, agreed. Dana gives some of the fighters that don’t win on the show more of a shot then others (post show). What I meant was that I hope that kimbo gets to fight even if he doen’t win the show. I was not realy a fan of kimbo but he is not such a bad guy. And he has proved that by going on the show.
I am sure that Kimbo will be competing in the UFC after TUF win or lose. Just like Junie Browning.

Kimbo is one of the smallest guys in weight and one of the oldest guys on TUF10. He’s not beating Roy Nelson.
theres a video on spikes’ website which shows kimbo in one of his tuf fights. he’s standing while the guy is on the ground covering up. im sure thats his first fite and they gave him a tomato can guy to fite. i think there is one guy on the now with no pro fites if im not mistaken, mite be him.
also from his shorts and cornermen it looks like he’s on rampage’s team which is going to be fun to watch. i know its entertainment so its cool but i wana see what wes sims does too. they should bring frank mir as a guest trainer on the show and see was sims does lol.

This expo sucks. We have been in line since 10:30 to see chuck and Randy and now it’s 1:30 and still waiting. In order to get autographs you had to buy the $500 VIP pass otherwise you are screwed.
