Unfortunately, Wanderlei will never break into the UFC MW top 3, but he still has plenty of entertaining fights left in him. He put up a good fight against Franklin – but fighters like Silva would pick him apart. He would beat guys like Bisping that’s for sure…
I hate to say this because I hate Bisping, but Bisping has the same technical style that Franklin used to beat Wandy. I would put my money on Bisping. Its sad to say, but Wandy isnt going to be beating any top fighters again.
Well said lokie. Also, I’m not sure that wandy will even be able to make the cut to 185 and if he does how do you think he is going to look? It sounded like he had trouble just cutting to 195 for the fight with Rich. After Bisping beats Dan Henderson a great fight would be Wandy against Hendo at 205. Bisping is going to be to fast, well conditioned and technical for Henderson. In my opinion, that is easy money.

Lol we Americans are so quick to judge our bilingual friends when we ourselves could never even imagine speaking a different language. Anyway jay I agree and these guys are just pretending to know what they are talking about. I would really prefer to know by what way people think Bisping can win this fight? KO, TKO, and submission are all out of the question. UD is the only way but if Hendo is losing all he has to do is revert back to his wrestling and just control the fight to get the judges call.
i dont understand why he is still in the ufc, the dude has lost like 6 of his last 7 fights, yeah he may be entertaining, but how many more loses is it going to take for dana to drop him? I mean anderson toys with franklin, so what is he going to do as a MW? hendo knocked him senseless before, he is not even good enough to be a gatekeeper in the MW division. i hope dana retire him before he becomes like muhammad ali.
i think if henderson beats bisping, wandy should be bispings next fight. this was a pretty rough interview to watch, but im glad to hear he sounds confident and isnt going anywhere.
I’ve never seen someone talk so much who just lost a fight. I would hate to see how many videos pop when he actually wins again.

So Wanderlei is stupid just because he doesnt speak the language as fluently as you and I? With those kind of comments it’s obvious that you are the dumb and uneducated ones.
You guys talk like Rich Franklin demolished him or picked him apart. I’ve watched this fight at least 5 times now, and still believe that Wanderlei won that fight and was robbed of the decision. What’s wrong with Wanderlei challenging the judging in the fight? He believes he won. Most knowledgeable MMA followers I know agree that he won that fight, so why is he stupid for voicing those opinions? You people are truly ridiculous.

I’m not “all emo on [myself]“. It’s just really irritating to hear people after a super close fight talk as if the loser was demolished. It happens almost every time a fight is close. The same thing happened with Hughes / Serra fight. It’s also irritating to hear people say someone is stupid because they don’t have an extremely large vocabulary in a language that isn’t native to them. Dude’s a fighter, and speaks 4 or 5 languages somewhat fluently. I wouldn’t call that an idiot by any means.
One more loss and he gets dropped. Two more wins and he gets a title shot.
