By: MMAmania
Tickets for UFC Fight Night 19 at the Cox Convention Center in Oklahoma City, Okla., on Sept. 16, are scheduled to go on sale to the general public on Saturday, July 11 at 10 a.m. CT.
UFC Fight Club members and UFC Newsletter subscribers, naturally, will be able to scoop of tickets prior to them being available for public consumption.
UFC Fight Night 19 is expected to feature a lightweight rumble between Roger Huerta and Gray Maynard. Both fighters appear to be headed in different directions — “El Matador” has expressed a desire to pursue an acting/modeling career outside the Octagon and the “Bully” is quietly moving toward the top of the talent-rich division.
Whether or not those current paths change when the 155-pound scrap is over remains to be seem.
Here is the UFC Fight Night 19 tickets sales schedule (all times are CT):
UFC Fight Club presale: Thursday, July 9 at 10 a.m.
UFC Newsletter presale: Friday, July 10 at 10 a.m.
General tickets sale: Saturday, July 11 at 10 a.m.
UFC Fight Night 19 tickets can be purchased through StubHub.com (Note: StubHub often has seats available even if the event is “sold out”). It will also be available to watch on Spike TV at 9 p.m. ET on fight night.
It’s been a long time since the promotion moseyed into the “Sooner State.” In fact, it was back way back in Dec. 1994 with UFC 4 from the Expo Square Pavilion in Tulsa, during which Royce Gracie cruised to submission victory over Dan Severn at “Revenge of the Warriors.”
Therefore, expect UFC Fight Night 19 tickets to sell quick for the 15,000-seat venue. Get ‘em while you can.
Remember that UFC Fight Night 19 will serve as the lead-in for the upcoming tenth season of The Ultimate Fighter (TUF), which features Kimbo Slice and a solid collection of 15 other heavyweight fighters competing in a tournament-style format to earn one “six-figure contract.”

Good matchmaking here. You need an exciting fighter like Huerta to get anything even remotely interesting from Lay ‘n Gray.
Nope, gray will muscle him around and smash him up. His power will make the difference standing. The fact that huerta is getting out after this also makes me question the intensity of his training.
horrible matchmaking!.. they are setting Gay up to win against an exciting fighter thinking it would help Gay’s fanbase which it won’t ppl will just hate him even more!
I’m getting tired of Dana’s kid games… the conctractual thing in the UFC s*cks fighting in the UFC pays literally nothing, that’s why ppl that has a choice and the balls to do something leaves…
agree you will see more and more top fighters leave for greener patures maybe not better fights but more money and that what it comes down too.
I don’ question what his training will be but I don’t see Huerta winning. I think Gray will be too strong for him and I see him being controlled the whole. I’m a huge Huerta fan but if he had trouble with Clay’s wrestling I just see him being handled here.
NNR: I though Roger had had his break and this was his comeback fight? Seems a long time since he last fought?
Ya Huerta is not renewing his contract with the UFC so he can pursue acting, which is why the UFC set him up with a fight to lose. But if he did win, maybe that would change his mind about quitting..I mean he considered giving up MMA after his loss to KenFlo right? Maybe a win will clear his mind about fighting again..
I don’t think it was the fight that did it. After he did that first movie he was offered a 3 movie contract with some Canadian company and a book deal here- he took them both. He saw the movie thing making him turn down too many fights so decided to put the fighting thing on hold. I hope he stays fighting but you can’t tell a guy not to make his money while he can.
Yep, jon said it all. They forced him to wait out his contract without putting him on shows so that other orgs couldn’t snatch him up with a better contract and so that all the hype he was hoping to use for his jump into hollywood dies down.
boomer sooner baby! about time ufc comes back to ok. i went to the card back in 1994. evidently it was before the ufc started using jumbotrons. because i could not see anything from the back. everytime the crowd roared i would bug the guy next to me with binocs. what happened? what happened? i do remember fights in the stands and jim brown refusing to sign some kids autographs. and 30 minute waits in the beer lines.
I want someone to smash his face so he have no choice but to fight at UFC!
won’t happen cause the UFC won’t pay anybody…
I meant during a fight. lol!!
i tell you what; they won’t be swapping career paths if huerta wins. maynard ain’t going to do much modeling with that mug.
Grey is a dog
no hes more of a cat
I can’t imagine Heurta pulling this one off, gray goes for lay n’ pray. On the other hand I’m sure D. White could care less if Huerta wins.
Should be a good scrap. Let’s see if Roger is serious about being back.
This one could be ugly if Huerta dosen’t work on defending the takedown like when he fought Guida. Guida took him down at will. But, he also got choked out. We’ll see has the potential to be a great fight if Huerta keeps it on the feet.
