That hand is done. He will probably break it in nearly every fight he has from here on out. Tough luck.

Depends on how it heals. Sometimes those breaks can actually make that part of the hand stronge, but he is going to have to lay off of it for a while! hes training will be most hampered by the injury.

bones heal stronger where the break is. It actually becomes dangerous only b/c the second time you break it, it won’t break naturally. It will break in an odd location since it won’t break twice in the same place. This is all, of course, assuming you let it totally heal the first time.

Speaking about bones healing, I know its off topic, but has anyone heard anything recently about how Cory Hill is doing?

I haven’t seen jack about his recovery lately? Just curious.

I was curious too Cole so I searched the web and all I can seem to find is 1000 different videos of him breaking his leg. His surgery was early February right? I haven’t heard anything since.

As a recent collarbone breakee, I sort of feel his pain.

R U serious! This is one tough cat. I knew it was broken but his hand was ganked. I tried to roll with a broken finger and couldnt hold on. Much respect Urijah.

He faught a GREAT fight 5 whiole rounds with a haggered hand and still put on one HELL OF A SHOW!

I know we can IF all day but seeing how Faber stood and hung in with one hand and some flying elbows, i think had that hand not break, wed be looking at a RE-crowned champion….

you really think a broken hand as bad as this looks is better and stronger or is it worse? it’s gottta be mentally weird to throw punches after a broken hand. And what about forrest no chin anymore Griffin? He’s been off for a year plus after breaking his had too right? Won’t that affect his performance against Anderson Silva?

They should have put plates and screws in the other two bones while they were in there. Hell, plate his knuckles!

broke mine in the same place i had 2 pins going through the knuckle the connects to my ring finder. Had a cast on for a little over a month., got the pins out when they took it off…scary movie 2. thats what my hand looked like “grab my strong hand” really skinny couldnt even move it..its still alittle fucked up but after almost 2 months of physical therapy it was okay…the bone where the break was is thicker and stronger then it was in the first place

ya i also broke my right hand at the end of march, but i broke my first and second bones towards the top under the finger.. i had to have 4 pins total and 2 in each knuckle in a “X” shape.. i went threw theropy for 1 month i still have 2 nasty scars on my hand and my hand is stiff sometimes and cracks when i bend my fingers back.. also both knuckles are bigger compared to the other hand
