they should hire a different voice over guy, he subbed sylvia and and the “stacked undercard”? he could of spewed out a couple of matchups in the last 10 seconds

I was just about to say that. Also the main card is staked, the undercard- not so much unless they get lil Nog again.
Dude, this summer is crazy for fight fans. July 11th is UFC 100, 18th is Mayweather/Marquez, August 1st is this wicked card, August 8th is 101, 9th is WEC 42, and 15th is Strikeforce! Then there’s 102 on August 29th! Wow!
I guess they know there’s no North American sport except baseball still going in the summer… a perfect time to get fans’ undivided attention with basketball (blech) and hockey done for the year and football not underway yet.
Agreed this is a cheesy trailer. They should get rid of the 3rd rate actor doing the voice over for sure.
I’m positive it will be a great card as they all have been up to now but they need to step it up when it comes to the promo side of things if they want to be taken seriously. Its not like it costs all that much to put together a decent trailer.
I actually liked the production quality of the trailer. dudes voice does suck, but I like the foggy look to the commercial!
interesting to see where Arlovski lands. His fight against Grim satisfied the last fight on his affliction contract. THe pitbull is now a free agent. Lets see where he lands!

I don’t think it has anything to do to the commentator (voice over guy). I think it has to do with the lack of a production crew and therefore poor PPV productions. I was thinking the exact same thing after I watched it. No other fighter other than Barnett and Fedor were even mentioned. Pretty sad but I bet that this company is belly up in the near future.
Affliction looks amateurish.. I hope Strikeforce can sign the fighters after this last show.
i agree. If they didnt have fedor they’d be F’d .I like barnett but c’mon why is he fighting fedor?? look at barnetts last 2 oppenents. i really think fedor needs the ufc not the other way!
am i the only one who thinks fedor dont need the UFC, but UFC needs Fedor to legitimatize its HW Strap.
everyone who knows anything about MMA knows fedor is the No.1 Hw fighter in the world, so until he retires or does goto the UFC, no ufc champ is ever gonna be called the No1 in the world.
And as far as im aware Fedor dont have much cage Experience, as he norm fights in a ring, and you always hear of fighters underestimating fighting in the octagon for the first time, if he did goto the UFC i wud hope they started him off with some one not quite top of the UFC’s Hw pecking order ( like a herring or Cro Cop) till he found his way about the octagon then feed him brock or mir

ain events good but what about the rest of the card… NO WAY im paying full PPV price just to watch a main event with fedor.. To me this just shows how ggod the ufc cards are .
Fedor is the only reason I watch affliction….nobody is as well-rounded in the ufc
Fedor must be the strongest man on the planet…….carries an MMA organization on his shoulders and thousands of internet MMA fans in his nuts. That being said, he’s gonna destroy overrated Barnett.
They need a new promo definitely this is not doing Fedor justice.
