I still would like to see him fight again, let’s see if this is going to happen!
I would like to see him fight again too. there is nothing more i enjoy than seeing his cinder block head being punched. he’s too much of a business man now, fighting is number 2 and he will be asking for the same money as fedor.
i’m just waiting for him to go on dancing with the stars..
Tito is healthy now guys. He almost beat Machida and was always fighting top guys, and he was very injured. I for one may make fun of “the worlds smartest business man,” but I can’t wait to see him fight healthy again!

Why bother listening to what he says anyway? Its all BS…whenever there is a non UFC mma event…Tito is there in the 1st row…and he does an interview at every single event talking about how he might be fighting with them. He has done it at Affl;iction, EliteXC and now strikeforce….Just get him off my freaking TV/computer screen…. I like those spaces RESERVED for real fighters!

Scott, I don’t think he was stroking Dana. You have to admit though, fans don’t want to hear about injuries after the fact. If his back was that bad he should have had the surgery rather than making it worse. I’m not trying to dismiss the injury, but he was a dumb ass to get into the octagon with anyone if he was in such bad shape, imo.

Good example: Babalu vs. Jason Lambert. I think that would be a decent fight though but Babalu is either on or OFF completely.

He is a bitch. He went out of his way to work a boxing match with Dana into his contract, then no showed. The had Nevada State folks there, and he bitched out. He almost fluked a win against Lyoto, but showed how terrible his jitz is. The fighters that Forrest and Rashad were then aren’t the same fighters today. I still say that Forrest beat him. He is a waist of breath in MMA now.

I remember every pre-fight interview Tito always said I feel great have been training hard. Now after a rough while in the UFC the back was reason the past 7 years. I just hate people that make excuses. Tito never needed the money. He just should have waited. Who cares if Dana and the fans call him a bitch. If he was truly hurt he could have proven he wasn’t a bitch by stepping in the cage and showing he still is a force he claims to be. Just my take on it.

No RoB, as an athlete you know your body and if injury is giving you limitations. If your injuries are causing your opponents to have an advantage you go under the knife it is that simple. He may have really been hurt but stop the excuses. I needed this surgery for 7 years…7 YEARS!! Come on man, that is ridiculous. Take a year, year and a half off, get right and make for some good fights. I used to like Tito…but cannot stand ANY fighter that brings up excuses and injuries. You have the chance to opt out. I respect those that fight because of monetary concerns. Tito does not and will never have those. Sorry RoB, but that is my take on Tito and this situation with all due respect!
LHW is the most stacked division in the UFC the fighting talent is so close there is never a so called for sure fight in the top seven in this division. I’m not a fan of Tito’s but I agree he is a great fighter. Only problem in the UFC is there is at least seven fighter that are just as skilled and if your not 110% focused your going to lose. Tito was not himself against Machida I believe he was focused on battling Dana more than he was on Machida = big mistake. But then again that’s Tito for you love him or hate him he seems to bring Drama in and outside of the cage much like Junie Browning.
I love both Tito and Babalu…huge fan.
Being that I am completely unbiased on this one, I’ve gotta compare their past fights with Chuck. Babalu gat fuckin’ destroyed (twice)…Tito lost twice, but didn’t end up counting sheep. What’s more, is Babalu doesn’t really have any way of finishing Tito. Babalu’s Jits is great, but Tito hasn’t been subbed for a very, very long time (and he tapped to strikes from Shamrock). Unless Babalu can lay on top of Tito for 15 minutes, this will be Tito’s fight to lose.

babalu will lay on top of tito for 15 min. and win this fight if it even happens, babalu’s wrestling will be better then tito’s in the later part of the fight and babalu’s stand up is a few years ahead of tito’s, if Thierry couldnt land any damaging elbows on babalu i doubt tito will, tito is no longer a dominating force with a healthy back or not

Tito definately isn’t hanging with the 205ers in ufc anymore. His only chance at being succesful to any degree is strikeforce. But how would he deal with not being able to rain down elbows when he was in someones full guard? That’s one of his go to strikes.
First of all he beat Forrest,really beat Rashad,was the closest to beat Machida(which nobody else has even came close)also Strikeforce has the same rules as UFC their is no downward elbows which means you can not drop them like ol’school Dusty Rhodes.To your post right below Rashad grabbed the fence too ,but was not penelized go watch the replay,and what did Rashad do to Tito,nothing,he finally got a takedown at the end of the third,while Tito took him down in every round and put Rashad in a guillotine,that Rashad barely survived,stop believing everything Dana tells you!

I just do not see how people can call themselves MMA fans,but all they know seems to be what Dana tells them.I also have a question what has Tito done to the fans to earn all the hate he gets,hum?Only thing I can think of is get into with Dana.To the fans that do not know why you hate him so much,the reason you hate him is because Dana took control of UFC,and could no longer manage Tito,so Dana got mad when his former client would not take it easy on him and held out for more money.Dana wanted Tito to fight Chuck for the same amount of money he got when he first joined UFC,knowing it would be the biggest PPV in UFC history

I’m an mma fan and I think both Dana and Tito are dip shits. And by mma fan I don’t mean “what Dana tells them”. I won’t pretend to know more than anyone else but I’ve watched tons of mma events, even local ones with no big catchy “UFC” logo on them. Give your fellow readers here a little credit. The rules are different in strikeforce, no elbows to grounded opponent. I’m pretty sure elbows to grounded opponent are legal in ufc. No a dana fan scott so u can drop that argument now. “If your not cheating your not trying” exact words out of Q TIPS mouth after evans fight. Evans may have held cage once but ortiz did 3 times. And yes by the time rashad got him down in 3rd he couldn’t do much because he was gassed. He stopped 2 takedowns by holding the fence, both of those woulda led to ground and pound situations. That was when rashad was still training here in michigan. Agree but Strikeforce is were Tito can be king. Sobral is the champion. Strikeforce is no UFC Sobral got destroyed by Chuck in the first round and Lambert KO him in the second round in the UFC now he’s the champion at Strikeforce. I would be shocked if Sobral could last more than two rounds with a out of shape Tito.
Renato lost to chuck because he chased chuck and got caught he could of did what tito did and just stay away and just end up getting tko’d in the later rounds like tito, and vs. lambert babalu was controlling lambert up until the last seconds of the first round and it carried over to the second round where lambert landed a nice left hook, since that babalu has steam rolled to victories in his last 5 fights, so to say Renato cant last 2 rounds with an out of shaped tito just shows how clueless you really are, babalu would win by unanimous decision and babalu has way more experience and has fought better competition then tito

Also someone else pointed out that Rashad grabbed the fence more than once. Tito would have won that fight if not for the point deduction. yep and Rashad’s takedown in the third came with 15 seconds left.. Tito had that round up until that point, he made a silly mistake by going for a thai-clinch with his back against the fence.. even Dana thought Tito had that fight for all you Dana-lovers!

Tito keeps on refering to chuck and couture agewise .. fact is that both the mentioned fighters started late professionally and that is why they are still hanging around .. this sport takes a toll on any fighter and you can only last for so long .. Tito started his mma career early … its good that he is going to strike force because he won’t cut it now in the talent rich ufc .. as far as Griffin and Evans go .. both of those fighters were still a little green in their mma career when they fought him .. the results would be favourable for them if they would fight him (a healthy tito )today .. i do wish tito all the best but i will reserve any comments until i see him fight a credible opponent.
