funny comment..stop saying mma fighters are the real life fighters..common theyre college graduates..most of them..freddie is a street guy.guys who are the REAL street fighters–he even stood up to big street boxers like james toney…mma is a hybrid skill fighting but in a street fight balls count more than skills..because it happens soooo fast–thats why tito ortiz and don frye got theyre ass kicked(with theyr wrestling submission and boxing skills—not being used at all)during real life confrontation–and brandon vera saying he’ll just buy a gun—duh??.

i give an edge to boxers in a real fight because they are from the streets and not because of theyre hands–which is sooo limited..did tyson train to bite during his boxing days…noooo–he learned it in surviving the streets..

its not the art its the person!!!

I would say grappling is getting to be less and less of what MMA is about. It seemed like for a time things were all about ground control and Chuck was the odd ball. Now we have tons of awesome strikers that have mint ground games defence.

What comes around goes around and the day of the Grappler will reappear in 3 or 4 years again.

God I hate watching a PPV and nothing but 1 minute matches and all are kos where is the variety…

I guess thats ok UFC wont have to pay out for submission of the night. HA HA

i DONT UNDERSTAND HOW SO MANY PEOPLE CAN WANT TO SEE fEDOR LOSE? There is no classier and better fighter on this planet. HOw do u people root against him? I dont get it!
Thats just Hate man. Even if Arlovski were to beat Fedor….what would that mean? No one is even close to having the resume that Fedor does. Does 1 loss make him lose his top spot? Of Course not. He would have to lose at least 2 fights in 1 year to lose his top ranking. He is Light years ahead of every other heavyweight in terms of accomplishments.

I am a HUGE Arlovski fan, but I dont see Fedor losing to anyone. Once Fedor cracks you in your face with a lightning quick diving lead hook. pitbull will turn into a poodle….Remember Tim Sylvia?

By the way, Fedor doesnt use traditional wrestling takedowns. More hips involved. Andre’s wonderful sprawl wont work.

I LOVE both fighters, but I dont really see Fedor losing a fight. Especially not a motivated Fedor.

How could you guys root for Arlovski.. Andre has 1 foot out of the mma door. He is going tohead over to boxing. Whats the point of Andre being the only guy to beat Fedor and run off into boxing? If one of the few great heavyweights like Andre leave mme….Then it becomes even more important for Fedor to continue to win!
