Sweet, thanks john!!…I have been looking for this all morning..Just got done watching the Aoki/Alvarez fight..
I thought Eddie was going to win..I really like Aoki, and knew he had all tools to beat Eddie, but I have been big on Alvarez for a while now..I wish BOTH of these guys come to the UFC..
Also, am I the only one who thought Eddie looked way too timid in this fight?? He just didn’t look the same..
But, damn! Once Aoki gets a hold of you….its done..
Thanks again!
getting tickets to go to my first ufc event at ufc 96!! Does any of you have suggestions on where the best place to sit is?
im told the lowers are the best, floor seats you cant see anything when the action hits the floor, so id say 2nd or third tier seating would be best… depending on your budget, id stay away from the cheapies, better to PPV the card
I went to the first one at nation wide arena We got the 300 Dollar seats And they were ok Watched alot of it on the big Screens though would deff up grade next time But it was still a awesome experience Got to walk around and meet Shonie Carter,Mark Coleman,John Fitch .
I have never been to a UFC event and I think that I would prefer seeing it on PPV but I would like to at least once, witness it at the event itself.
i love watching the ppv production as they are top quality, i have also heard mixed reviews on actually going to a live event when it comes to seeing the action but i think the atomsphere in itself will be worth money and the trip.
I live in Sacramento and went to UFC stacked that should of been called UFC borefest and the WEC when it was here. Both times sat up in upper bowl and hated it. Watched most of the fights on the big screens. Told myself for the same price $60 (UFC) I could PPV alone in the comforts of my PJs…Not again…
Hmmm. I always hear these mixed reviews. I think that the atmosphere would be exciting but as far as seeing the fights, there are only certain seats in the house that make sense. I remember hearing that the lowers are the best. I’d love to meet some UFC fighters as well.
Flats are pretty shit for the price. Have front row uppers for 93 and 95. Hoping they’ll be better price to viewing ratio type thing. Although for BJ v Joe Daddy in flats we just walked up and stood at the front. Pissed some people off but hey best view for a fight i’ve ever had. Met Dana, ring girls and Buffer too.
I HAVE TO FIND A WAY TO WATCH THIS CARD!

How come some fighters did not weigh in!?
Bob Sapp, is 375 lbs of SOLID, ripped, muscle and is going against a 225er!?
i dont see how Mirko plans on beating HMC. he said he will win the fight on the ground, but Mirko has no ground game!
so, i see Freak Man Choi taking it!
i wanna see Sapp vs HMC!
Sapp and HMC fought in K-1 rules I believe. Sapp lost.
It is a work.
Man….is that dude Sapp’s fighting going to wear that mask?…
That’s what I’m wondering. I have heard people say stuff like that, but I haven’t figured out if it is a joke or not. Certainly a freakshow in Japan though.
It would have been interesting to see Mirko’s weight. Speculation for whether he was on steroids or not would have huge evidence from his weight.
As we know Mirko weighed in for the Cheick Kongo fight at a svelte 220 pounds. Mirko has said himself “I would have to cut a leg off to get to 205″.
Seriously? Forrest Griffin cuts more weight than you do. I’m sure half of the LHW’s cut more weight than 220.
I have even heard that Rich Franklin cuts from 215-210 to get down to 185 (He is an enormous middleweight, indeed).
Mirko has already had 2 fights in Japan since the Cheick Kongo fight and his weight was in the exact same range that it’s always been. The guy is not on steroids. His terrible performances as of later aren’t exclusive to the UFC. In case you haven’t noticed, the guy was getting absolutely clobbered by Alistair Overeem.
Do they even have real weight-classes in DREAN like in the UFC? I understand, that there is no weight-class for Hunt vs. Manhoef but Sakaguchi and Ologun also have a weight difference of 15 pounds and I thought this wought be a fight where both weigh-in the same??
Dude, Hari got worked.
Bigger disgrace to MMA; Bob Sapp or Kimbo?
The UFC needs to add Mousasi to it’s MW division. But since he is affiliated with Red Devil, probably wont happen.
That didnt take long for Aoki

Just watched the fights:
Was the Bob Sapp fight a work!? had to be! His opponent wore a superhero mask and outfit!??????
Alistar had a good KO
Mirko had good kicks but the fight was terrrible ending with a single low kick! but i guess there isnt much you can do against a man that size.
Aoki didnt need long!
