Diego is probably being realistic, if his skill level is going to be equal to the guys at the top and the deciding factor in getting the win is going to be strength and power which because they are naturally bigger than him they are going to beat him in. Considering a move down especially if all it takes is a few losses to get cut from the UFC makes logical sense, he still has excellent competiton without having to worry about the strength and power disadvantages. Michael Bisping was in the same boat. That is exactly what Sherk did. It's going to take some time for him to make that cut and feel half way decent, he'll have to lose some muscle along the way. BJ penn, Dan henderson, Wanderlie silva those are the kind of fighters I love because if given an oppurtunity they will fight anyone they dont give a shit.
