Personally I would rather see Maia in with Big Dog Richardo Almeida. I think two great bjj fighters going head to head would be a great fight. I think the fight Almeida had with Cote was close if he had won he would have got the shot against Anderson Silva so if Maia wants to move up the ladder this fight would be just as big as Bisping.

It would be extremly difficult for Maia to take Bisping to the ground, Evans and Hamill both struggled at LHW and that does translate to this fight. I believe Bisping would keep the fight standing and pick Maia apart, only going for the finish if it Maia was badly hurt and vulnerable to some of Bispings brutal ground and pound. Another factor is that Bisping is one of few fighters who doesnt have to pass gaurd to inflict serious damage on the ground. Bisping would crush him easily.

Good point Greg C, it’s kind of like in the workplace – the person that accomplishes something and tells everyone including their boss about it always gets more recognition/promotion than the similar person who doesn’t say anything at all. Keep at it Maia.

Maia is the MAN! There is no way, no how, Bisping would even make it out of the 1st round. Bisping is sooooooo overrated its not even funny. They should serve this chump to Maia to shut alot of people up. B R O C K

I think he’s saying if Wandy dropped to 185, he would beat Bisping.
