“UFC Countdown” to UFC 91: “Couture vs. Lesnar’” will debut on Spike TV tonight (Monday, November 10) at 11 p.m. ET to promote the “biggest fight in UFC history” this upcoming weekend at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada, on November 15.

The hour-long special presentation will provide a glimpse into the preparation and training camps of the fighters set to headline the show, including main event participants UFC Heavyweight Champion Randy Couture and former WWE superstar, Brock Lesnar.

Here’s the official description:

“Go behind the scenes as 3-time UFC® Heavyweight Champ Randy ‘The Natural’ Couture and wrestling powerhouse Brock Lesnar prepare for the biggest fight in mixed martial arts history! Can the legend prevail? Or will a new hero rise?”

We’ll also likely get to check out some footage of the camps for co-headliners Kenny Florian and Joe Stevenson — a match up that could be considered a number one contender eliminator match in the talent-laden 155-pound division.

For those who miss the “Countdown” to UFC 91 premier it will re-air on Thursday, November 13 at midnight and Saturday, November 15 at 6 p.m. ET.

The only thing I hate about the countdowns is that it makes me go crazy all week waiting for the fight!

Countdowns are the best. I hope b.w. was right about them doing a series of them for BJ/GSP like HBO does for big boxing matches.

I wouldn’t get your hopes up. THere were rumors of that same thing for this fight as well, but it never came to fruition.

I don’t get too excited for the countdowns, usually it’s the same clips crammed into a spike show with commercials that we’ve been seeing for weeks!

True DAT! Monday night TV sucks balls. Are they going to show Lesnar escaping from the Gorilla zoo exhibit when he was a boy? It’s more like Captian Propecia than Captain America. This is gonna be AWESOME!

Hey Phil: Awesome experience this past weekend! Thanks for sharing, he seems like a down to earth kind of guy. Interesting on his take of B.J. Funny bc now you can say $hit like,” Big John told me!”

I agree under one condition. Randys age doesn’t show. If his age doesn’t finally effect his performance, I think that he will simply outclass Brock.

That’s not to say that Brock can’t surprise us. Lets face it. He is a work in progress and we don’t know what kind of things he will be bringing to the table this time around. He could very well defeat a game Randy Couture. We will have to wait and see but I still would lean towards Randy.

Comment by O damn he got caught

For sure, RANDY FTW, that way I can stick it in “introverts” face the rest of ‘08 and probably a few months of ‘09.

The Countdown should be a lot better than that weak event commercial. It’s the crappiest ufc event preview for such an unforgettable night.

Can’t wait for tonight and Im rooting for RANDY ALL THE WAY.

Ugh. This event starts at like 6 Alaska time. I have to work till 6. Once I get off, I’m hauling ass to watch this fight. Hope I don’t miss too much of Quarry vs Maia.

I have Joe Stevenson winning by submission or decision in the late round.
I believe kenny has a disadvantage against quick and powerful wrestler like Joe, something tells me.

*Yawn*

Not crazy about the main card, though I know the wrestlers at my gym are. The only other two fights worth watching is Quarry/Maia and Florian/Stevenson.
