i pull the same bit with Buffalo Wild wings. “it costs me more money to go out and buy drinks at the bar, so i might as well just order it.”

Yep, that is the one I use too. It helps having a 9 month old at home. “You know hon, I’ll spend the same amount of money if not more and I’ll won’t get home until late. You sure you and the kiddo are okay?”

I love this blog. If they made a show out of it I would miss an episode. A Day In The Life with Dana White. I love all the behind the scenes shit. I didn’t Dana would care about intro music of all things… But anyway…

Santos looks ready but i’m a die hard Werdum fan and this is a big fight for him. I hope he walks through him so he can get that shot he is deserving of.
War Werdum!

thanks mania, I wake up and it’s here!
Dana f*cked up, he said how we all told him the Silva/alves thing…but he says he doesn’t read the blogs. Hopefully for john he doesn’t, or that interview won’t go well. couldn’t resist, lol.
the all access and countdown last night were great. I actually have a new found respect for kos. I still think he’s a douche, and hope he loses, but respect him a little more.
I need to hear the Jared shaw interview, can you put it up mania.
well 1 more day, I unfortunately got to DVR the event, my son has a halloween festival until 8:30 on sat, at least I’ll be able to fast forward through the ads, and will see the main event or destruction od GSP’s boy toy as I like to call it, live!
peace out guys, going to play poker today!

2008-10-24 10:01:47

one other thing, last night Dana said kos/alves is a better fight now that Kos is in it. I know he has to hype the fight, but I disageree! I think sanchez’s stand up has come leaps and bounds, and was excited for that fight! I’m now excited to see Kos get ko’d, but like sanchez better!

He went on to point out that Kos had beaten Diego. That was his reasoning behind Kos being the better match up which I also agree. I think Kos has more of a chance to beat Thiago but I’d rather watch Diego against Thiago because I know the action will be better.

Come on, how can you compare the “improved” striking of wrestler with that of a muay thai fighter. That’s like saying you wanna see a lesnar’s improved “jits” against a nogueira or something. But certainly, i thought that Sanchez’s fighting pace would be a factor. None the less Alves would have or will wreck them both.

Kevin, honestly man you think your $h!t don’t stink. Who gives a F@%K about what you are going to do or what your son is going to do? This isn’t a Kevin’s BLOG website. You call yourself a writer. I find your views rather elementary. If you really think people care about what you have to say then you don’t need to position your comments above other people’s. If they give 2 shits about what you have to say they will scroll down and find your comments. Your comment had absolutely nothing to do with mikey’s comment. Yet you hit reply to this comment just so you can position yourself and post a comment i already posted an hour before you and tell us how your pathetic friday night is going to be. Your head is probably as big as Tito Ortiz.

LOL@ open 24hours. the only problem with your comment is, no matter where I put my opinions, I get 10 times the replies you’ll ever get. Try coming up with something original instead of regurgitating my thoughts and you might get play.

man, anyone can insult me, but my comments always look so pretty. thanks for cleaning it up mania!

yeah DBG, they were so gay that they averaged 20+ responses, and no one thought they were gay when I had the idea of asking mania questions…and by george they answered. Thanks for your input though!

The keys to victory for Werdurm is to avoid a brawl.. avoid standing more then he has.. too..cuz Dos Santos can put hurting on him.. that will make his bones hurt.. Werdum needs this fight on the ground Asap. That is his only advantage IMo.

This video blog shows how much Dana really cares for this sport. He obviously either read or got the feedback of what most of us were commenting on yesterday. The whole Thiago SIlva instead of Alves and how Werdum looked monsterous in civilian clothes and Santos working those mitts. Dana is always on his game.

dana is an intelligent business man who is capable of seeing a “big picature” for his orginization. he’ll get fedor eventually and he’ll get him to fight for half of what everyone else pays. he’s a sharper knife than people realize.

Who was the guy Dana was sitting at the table talking to straight after the press conference? (apologies for the ignorance but I’m from the UK and didn’t recognise him)
