Nice to see Kim and Gina are on the same page in regards to the weigh in and Gina’s pay. Kim needs to shut her mouth and not speak for anyone and work on trying not to get her jaw split, again.
Well, i said a while ago that i would only hate on her if she didn’t make weight. So, the whole weigh in thing was 100%her fault. The only worst thing than wrestling antics at a weigh in is an athletic commission turning a blind eye to a sports bra that weighs 1.75lbs.
The whole weigh in situation is a bit strange. But speaking from experience, scales react weird to all sorts of things. When I wrestled, I could weigh one thing, go take a leak, and come back a pound heavier. Or you could be a pound over, get back on the scale, completely exhale, and make weight. Scales, IMHO, are very general. And I believe it’s the athletic commission, not Elite, who certifies a fighter’s weight.
Maybe they should try upgrading from a bathroom scale to a real scale.
This is not an issue….Put Gina on a pay per view main event and see how many buys they get? And then see how many buys AA vs Fedor get..case closed!

i think that was a great interview… she really seems like a good person, not a money hungry c*nt like kim couture… and like she said she could have done a better job at making weight and to $kala’s peeking thing, “well im sure other people would have done it also” shes cool, i lkike her alot more for that interview
What i like about Gina(aside from the hotness) is her class. She almost seems shy, but she goes in there in does her job. she doesnt even complain about her pay, disagrees yes, but no complaining. theres a lot of male fighters who could take a lesson from Gina. gotta love it(her). Jared vs Gina BOOK IT. oh and before someone beats me to it “BOOBIES.”

Super Generic?… how should she reply to the questions that were asked?… she handles the press extremely well… I think her answers came from a level-headed gal’ that sez’ lets not dwell on this lets talk about fighting, MMA is a blast! I’m sure there’s going to be a little negotiation going on behind the scenes, she know’s there’s 1 more event with CBS…

Smart girl, at least she isn’t bashing the company that is paying her even though it isn’t as much as she would like. If more fighter had her attitude maybe MMA would be as screwy as it is ie Tito and others.

Some fighters have some sense when they are asked questions about their employers and don’t mouth off and get themselves in trouble like Tito and Huerta.

I know Dana said he doesnt want a womens division but couldnt he contract single fighters like Gina and a couple more maybe just 5 world class fighters. and bring other fighters from aroung the world on single fight contracts and just add the occasional womans fight to a UFC event and have a belt? I think the womens fights on Elite xc have been brilliant.

The womens division is the best thing about Elite. Those have been the best fights so far. They need 5 minute rounds though. Arlovski and the girl fights have been the best parts, and arlovski was borrowed lol.
