$kala came out with a quote a week or so back after the arlovski/nelson fight was announced saying “that this hit dana hard”. dana’s response was ” jared shaw, your 60 million in the hole you retard”, this guy doesnt know what he is doing, it would be like me starting a fast food chain and trying to bring down macdonalds”. thats about it. same old thing. but of course you know who i agree with. shaw should haver never said dana’s name in public, that was the final nail in the coffin.

Alot of people say Dana is a ego manic and a jackass sometimes. And yes he could choose his words a little better when he speaks in public. I’ve always respected Dana as a smart businessman; however, I did garner a whole new level of respect for him after I saw him in person at UFN 15 in Omaha. Despite how many crazy drunk ass fans were surrounding him and bothering him for pictures, he took his time to take a picture and say a little something to each and every single person that wanted a picture. You could truly tell that he does love this sport and was happy that the fans were having a good time.

elite took the same crappy deal that the ufc turned down. cbs came to the ufc 1rst. the ufc didnt need cbs and what it was offering. elite was already on showtime, wich is owned by cbs. elite only took the deal b/c it was losing tons of money and didnt have a choice. there still losing money by the millions and cbs hasnt helped their financial woes one bit. elite sold their soul when the took the cbs deal and made kimbo their star.

it’s pretty common knowledge that this occured. it is pretty old news, so it will take me a bit to come up with all the details. there is right now a column over at bloody elbow about wether elite will make it past oct.4 and goes into detail about the deal elite has with cbs and that cbs isnt investing much into elite at all. check it out and then get back with me.
also go to the CATEGORIES section on this site to the right of the page. scroll down to UFC ON CBS and you will see that ufc 81 was being rumored to be on cbs all the way back in nov. of last year. like i said it’s pretty common knowledge that it was a crappy deal and thats the big reason ufc turned it down. elite has went from being 33 million in the hole before signing with cbs, to being 55 million in the hole after their 1rst 2 events on cbs. im not trying to be too negative about elite,i dont care if they make it or not, im just gonna enjoy whatever free fights they do make happen. and jared shaw along with gary are retards.

lol. good post. i like free fights 2. i enjoy elite and sho elite. affliction i could live with out. the same fighters every time. boring. all they got is fedor. how long is he going to stick around tho. i am enjoing getting all these fights every month. and my girlfriend is starting to like it so that makes me happy. i would have never none about cung le if it wasnt for shoelite xc so i think them for giving me good fights. sucks that there would be only ufc. would we get free fights still? or is my tv bill going to be 300 dolla a month.
