I would like to see Joe Riggs win tonight. Misaki is top tep middlewieght… this would be a great win for Riggs if he can pull it off.
Wow Josh Rosenthal really sucks, Joe riggs fight was maybe the most boring fight i’ve ever watched the whole night except the josh thompson fight sucked and when frank trigg was called frank twig. hahaha any way Riggs got screwed
That was the worst stoppage since Werdum Vera. Riggs is a vet he deserves better. What a disappointing finish to a somewhat entertaining card. Although, the between fight stuff took way too long as well.
Ken was terrible, calling Herb Dean Cecil Peoples in one of many awkward post fight “interviews”.
Lets hope the Score picks up their production levels for the next card.

Riggs was covering well, but he was just too stationary. I think it was a bad call, but if he would’ve tried to move around to avoid the punches instead of eating them the ref probably wouldn’t have stopped it.
Bad yes but what could he have done, wait out the round? Misaki’s hands were too fast, that TKO was coming whether he liked it or not.

i cant believe i lived through this. did anyone else notice atencio there, rooting on riggs? the only thing intresting was that ishida armbar, everything else was mismatches and boring a$$ fights. this will be the last strikeforce show i watch untill they put on another big show on showtime. there next event has ludwig vs sam morgan for the main, how does strikeforce suppodley make money? sure wasnt from the live gate.

I didn’t think it was a boring show. Devala was picking apart Martin before the KO, Ishida had a nice arm bar from sacrifice throw and the undercard was actually decent. Obviously it would have been better if Josh Thompson had a good opponent, and Misaki vs Riggs wasn’t cut short but if you don’t think it’s watchable I have to wonder if you’re a fan of MMA. It seems to me too many people take cues from the energy of the audience because there are Ultimate Fight Nights that are much more boring.
I completely agree, what was so much better about the last UFN than this show?? OK, it wasn’t the greatst card ever but it was definately watchable. Plus, it was free and you could have not watched it if you didn’t want to. I thought it was a great card for the price (FREE!!!) and I agree there are A LOT of posers out there. Remember, its not UFC its MMA!!!
