Comments on: Wilson Gouveia vs. Ryan Jensen UFC Fight Night 15 fight official with Jeremy Horn injured

The thing is, that nobody knows, is that Ryan has taken on all of these fights with literally a 2 weeks or less notice (in the case of Villasnor a 4 day notice)… not given the chance to fully prepare for the fight. And yet he still does well, given the circumstances. I watched the fight last night and if it would have come to a decision and Wilson didn’t get the armbar, Wilson would have most definitely lost b/c Ryan was literally handing him his own ass. And Wilson did repeatedly say Ryan was much tougher than he had ever expected.

So for all of you guys that like to knock on other people with full ignorance, I would like to see you take on a fight at last minutes notice and see if you do well at it.

But ohh… that’s right… you’re probably just a bunch of pussy’s behind the scenes that like to make rude comments about other people to replace your own shortcomings and would never actually step in the ring yourself and make a go at it.

Ryan does this b/c he loves and appreciates the sport, but I guess you can all just go back to being the bigh wannabe’s

I’m guessing you didn’t watch him against Wilson? Wilson is an excellent fighter who didn’t do so well against Jensen in the standup. You say his kicks are sloppy? Tell that to Wilson, I talked to him after the fight he said his kicks were extremely powerful. You also need to look at who Jensen has fought-think about it. Maia who is still undeafeted, Leites who has a great record, and Villasenior who is no slouch either. You say he is awful, why don’t you step in the ring with him?

It would have been a good fight because Jeremy Horn is a veteran and Gouveia is tiugh as nails despait his last fight were he lost @ UFC 84. I guess Ryan Jensen is gonna have his hands full tomorow. I only seen him fight once so i don t know how good he is, but i ll take Wilson Gouveia he is more experienced and has better stand up just ask jason Lambert.

Any idea as to why Page would take a fight vs. someone who beat him convincingly x2?

Why would Wandy? No one else left as an opponent?

Page looked lackluster vs. Griffin, has all of those legal issues and he signed w/ a new camp.

Don’t you think this is too much of a challenge for Page right after dealing with all of the above?

I say Wandy takes this, hands down.

I cant see Wilson loosing this fight either.

By the way, I hear that fight contracts have been offered to wanderlei and Rampage to fight each other at UFC 91 as the co-main event to the Brock/Couture event. Hopefully this is true and Rampage and Wandy sign their contracts and agree to fight. I know wandy wants to fight in December but Brock vs. Lesnar is the new card of the year, not the december one so hopefully wandy will agree

Yeah, definitely a step down in competition for Wilson. Kind of a no-win situation for him, unless he gets KO of the night. Villasenor is a good fighter, but I wouldn’t think a top 10 fighter in the UFC (which Wilson is at MW) would want to fight a guy who lost to an XC fighter.
