I have a feeling that some of these odds will change drastically come Saturday

was thinking the same thing, in my eyes palhares, yoshida and hamill have a good chance..

I also expected marquardt to be much more the favourite.. a bet on him looks good.

right now I like:
Chuck
Rich
Palahres
Kampman
Yoshida

but I will probably change my mind by the time I place my bets on Saturday.

pALHARES IS GOING TO TAKE HENDO DOWN AT WILL! and if you are going to respond to this post come with something a little better then Hendo’s Greco Roman Pedigree because I know all that and I still think Dan is getting taken down and then submitted!

Well John, here I am responding. Hendo won’t, I repeat, won’t get taken down at will. Believe me dude, this Palhares has got sick subs. But sick subs against Hendo? Who’s he, Brock? Palhares ain’t a mountain of a man to begin with so he can’t dictate the ground game on Hendo.

Secondly, Palhares still has to prove somethin’, like beatin’ a top-tier fighter, to impose his gameplan on Dangerous Dan. Hendo is just too smart and savvy a veteran to get taken down at will. I just don’t know why he didn’t show his veteran savvy against The Spider, hehe!!

john at the same point above you make no arguement why he would be able to take hendo down at will… he hasnt’ taken anyone down at will.. most of his fights have been too short to say at will he just needed to take the other person down once and he hasn’t fought anyone with half as good takedown defense and wrestling ability as hendo… that’s why i don’t think he can take him down at will

Well if people bet heavily on Marquardt and his odds shorten, Kampmann at longer odds might be worth a bet. It’s pretty close I think. Martin is kind of small for a MW though and Nate is huge. It’s a tough one to call imo.

Hamill is a good play at +190. He has a very real chance of winning.

No! You forget the fighter Rich really is from his two losses to Silva. He will take Hamill apart.

I agree. Hamill is a beast on the ground, but he winds up leading with his face too often in the stand up exchanges. Rich is too good of a striker not to pick Hamill apart, hurt him, and then finish him. Rich knows the only way Hamill wins this fight is if it becomes a wrestling match. I think this fight will end in the 1st round.

No doubt.. he can control Rich if he gets him down. I think Rich’s best days are behind him now(or maybe he just cannot beat Silva).

Rich is a much faster and precise striker. This will make all the difference. Rich is barely on his back, unless he’s in there with a little known brazilian named anderson. Hamill is also known to wear himself out. This will also be a deciding factor.

Hamill is a beast and is gonna take Franklin down at will and pound him out. Kampmann is no slouch and marquardt tends to get a bit sloppy at times, i like kampmann by tko. Liddell either knocks Rashad out early or wins by a decision in a boring fight where Rashad runs away. Karo and Henderson both get much needed wins. Book em! Liddell, Hamill, Karo, Henderson, and Kampmann.

what makes anybody think henderson is going to loose?, hes worse at striking, worse at wrestling, has a worse chin (pretty much by default), and his ju jitsu is better.

well, we need to worry about his bottom game ju-jitsu, because hes probably going to deal with that a lot. i doubt he’ll have henderson on his back.

that only way he wins is by leglock from bottom. and dan henderson isn’t the easiest guy to submit.

If tavis lutter could take franklin down I think Hammill will definitely be able to as well but he is going to eat a shot coming in just like rashad will but i see hammill winning this fight.
