nick diaz
It appears that the feud between Elite XC Lightweight Champion KJ Noons and number one contender, Nick Diaz, will continue to endure until the time the pair finally meet inside the cage. And even if that never happens rest assured this very public war of words will last a very, very long time.

The latest salvo came from Diaz via the Cesar Gracie camp official Web site, ratcheting up the rhetoric in response to a letter (right here) that Noons issued last week to explain his reasons for not accepting a rematch against Diaz at the “Saturday Night Fights” CBS event on October 4.

It’s lengthy and picks apart Noons’ statement line-by-line.

Here’s just a taste regarding the Stockton show that ended with an in-ring melee:

“Diaz got no extra tickets in his home town of Stockton and isn’t complaining. 2) Bringing a fighter into the ring to promote an upcoming fight is standard practice. Your (I could of been a contender) drunk father, started a near riot and should be banned from further events and immediately placed in an Alcoholics Anonymous treatment center for his own self respect.”

Yeah, it’s ugly. And the gloves are clearly off. Stay tuned for more retaliation. In the meantime read the rest of the Diaz response over at GracieFighter.com.

Don’t be scared, homey.

I read this whole article the other day, this is great. My wife and I think Diaz is smarter than the avverage person from stockton. If you don’t think so, watch his post fight interviews in Japan. He loves the culture and the fans, his U.S. interviews are totally different than in Japan. I can’t seem to find one statement that I disagree with in his response. No one knows KJ Noons, and he got a title shot being 1-1 in elite. Realistically elite brought him in to lose, but he didn’t and now he’s defended the title. He’s a pussy and Diaz would kill him in a rematch. By the way KJ, go train at a real camp, no one trains at city box…at least no one relevant!

AS funny as this interview was, its actually pretty accurate. I cant disagree with any of it either.

u r right about Diaz knowing how to act in different countries.

Doesnt matter what KJ does at this point. weather its Diaz or Alvarez he is going to take a beating anyway/…..so it may as well be Diaz!

All the “drunk father” sh*t just shows that Diaz and his camp are a bunch of sorry a$$ MoFo’s. Why bring family into it? Is Diaz’s dad that much better? You guys keep smoking that sh*t and your going to end up like Nick. Every other word out your mouth will be “uh, you know”

cmon, Noon’s dad was the 1 that threw first at Nate!! hahahaahahlol that sh*t was funny! just admit it. karl sr. swings 3:22 marker MUST SEE… but elite still sucks! :)

kama kaze its Nate that right off the bat starts flipping them off! But your right, it was funny and I like crazy sh*t like that! But now Diaz and EliteXC want to make it look like Noons is scared! Just look at who got out the cage! Its easy to flip people off from the safety of the entrance!

I thought it was a good retaliation on the part of GracieFighter except for the whole “have it your way” Burger King reference…that was stupid.

For everyone talking about how they shouldn’t have gone after Noons’ Dad: It’s not like they made fun of his little sister something! Noons’ Dad chose to get involved at this level when he attempted to assault Nick Diaz. What’s worse, physically assaulting someone or calling someone an alcoholic?

KJ = little bitch > KJ = real champion…WTF?!? Where’d he come up with this equation?!?Whoever came up with this is a f**kin’ genius!

I think the most important point that Diaz makes is the fact that there are many other better and bigger draws than KJ, even some top contenders, that are in the same boat… and they don’t complain (well at least the majority).

At the same time, you can’t blame someone for trying to make a descent living, regardless if he deserves more money or not. What he has to do, is fight everyone they put in front of him, then renegotiate a better contract.

um…Diaz was destroyed easily by KJ…..it wasnt even competitive. So how do you figure this..Its like saying Ken would beat Tito now..

um…getting cut and having the fight called while you are standing there pissed off and ready to bang isn’t quite the definition of “destroyed” and comparing this fight to a fight in which one person was knocked unconscious withing a minute is a bit of a stretch. Diaz is a world class fighter that has fought and beaten some of the best in the world, he has never been ko’d or submitted, his losses have come by decision or cuts. If KJ could beat him so easily then he would fight him instead of making excuses, it would be free money if that was the case. Nick and Elite have been asking for this fight for monthes and your homeboy is conveniently washing his hair whenever they call, sounds like a pu$$y to me.

yeah a huge douche. Noons’ statement didnt take personal shots at Diaz or his family like this. It was geared more towards Elite Xc. Noons will beat Diaz again anyway.

Dude, he straight-out called his pops an alcoholic. even though his Dad acted a fool, Diaz shouldn’t disrespect KJ’s family to the media.

why? they did that themselves by the way they acted. throwing punches at the diaz brother? please. he deserves the lashing he gets in the media.

kitsunex, would you be ok with two young guys flipping your dad off? Then KJ’s dad charges, and both Diaz brothers get out the cage! The Diaz brothers did the disrespecting, then did the running!

the diaz brothers were trying to promote nicks fight, noon’s dad was drunk as all hell, he brought this criticism on himself. i didnt see a drunk diaz father throwing punches during all that

How do you know Noons dad was drunk? There’s ways of promoting a fight (Penn, respectfully asked GSP) The Diaz brothers coming in and flipping everybody off. Then getting out the cage when things got crazy. So who was scared? And who wasnt?

im not saying they did it the right way, it was disrespectful for sure, and youre right i dont KNOW he was drunk, but im pretty damn sure. he definitely looked and acted the part. anyways i dont want to argue about a situation where i think both parties acted poorly/immaturely, kj just needs to fight nick. and his dad needs to grow up and stop living vicariously through his son. although personally if some old dude threw a punch and talked trash to me like that id be just as rude as nicks been.

taunting people to fight is the oldest trick in the book. i don’t know about internationally, but everybody in hawaii understands that. look how bad kj wanted to throw down right there. yea Diaz did have that “cautious” look tho. HAHA!

medecine balls, I’ll agree the Diaz bros are not scared. I was just putting that out there like everybody was saying Noons was scared!

kama kaze, your right about taunting, it definately works! But it can also backfire like it has on Diaz!
