not too bad of a fight card. the kos vs yoshida fight should be a good fight. hope they get a good main event to sell this thing.
Huarta vs Diaz or maybe henderson vs marquardt would be pretty sweet.

i doubt they’ll put hendo in a UFN..

do yall notice that nowadays they seem to put the lighter weight classes as UFN headliners.. silva vs irvin, grove vs tanner, and swick vs burkman are the only ones that haven’t been 155 for a while. just checked, 7 of the last 10 UFNs and TUF finales have been 155 main event fights(diaz/neer, florian/lauzon, huerta/guida, thomas/florian, penn/pulver, fisher/stout, stevenson/guillard). just a little fun fact. and i was bored.

Steve Cantwell will fight Brian Stann on this card. Both are coming to the ufc. You heard it here first.

nice to see Tim Creduer drop to 170.. he looked way to small for 185, especially in his fight with Jesse Taylor. I know this Nate L. guy fought at Silva vs Irvin, but I don’t know much about him. How well does Tim match up against him?

You must not like Houston very much. That would make 4 loses in a row for him. I personly want to see Houston fight a couple cans.

houston alexander is garbage … everybody always rips on kimbo for being a gimmick but houston alexander is the same thing, except he cant beat the plug they put in front of him. They threw him a a guy who is shit on his feet so he could get an easy win and he still couldnt pull it off

dude, so what Houston isn’t going to contend for the belt. There’s only about 10 fighters in each weight class in the world that can say they are legitimate title contenders. Everyone else is there because they love to fight, they love the competition and to put food on the table for their families.

Why do you people have to rip on fighters because they lose? Not everyone can be a champion. Some guys just don’t have that elite talent. There’s nothing wrong with that!

Houston Alexander is a class act. He always puts on entertaining fights for the fans by stepping into that octagon every time and giving it his all. Show the guy some respect and quit bagging on fighters just because they aren’t champions.

Houston is garbage - I’ll give him props for knocking out Keith Jardine but on some nights Keith has a glass jaw. I’m more worried about Houston’s family - his brain is turning into mush.

Houston is garbage huh, so ur saying that knocking someone out that beat chuck and forrest constitutes being garbage then your an idiot. Hes just not a ground fighter two of his last three fights were against jui jitsu guys he just needs some work on his ground game.

i would hardly call Thiago Silva a jiu jitsu guy. He has great ground skills, but when I think of T.Silva, i think striker over grappler

I have to agree that silva is a striker but is also a bjj black belt, do you think it wouldve been wise for silva to stand up and trade with houston. Anyone in the ufc who gets matched up with houston is looking to take the fight to the ground, its just a better game plan one punch or one knee from that guy and his undefeated record goes bye bye and his climb up the 205 ladder is derailed.

Word from the Stann Camp is that Steve Cantwell vs Brian Stann was originally scheduled to take place on December 10th is pending the medical clearance of Brian Stann after an ankle injury. The current outlook is unlikely.

If swick and Kos are on the card I have a feeling that Fitch might be on two, promoters try to keep there fighters on the same card, maybe Fitch and Kampman, cause he is moving down to 170
OR fitch and huerta, he said he would move up to 170 if the UFC wanted him to!!! damn, I just wanna see fitch fight.
That guy who mentioned Karo anf fitch got me all flustered ahahaha

Fayetteville citizens should take note: Fight Night 16 is a free event just for the troops. Tickets are not available for purchase though donations are accepted and encouraged.

This is a decent card but swick vs goulet come on now, who the hell has goulet beat, not no one. Swick is gonna murder this fool. Its gonna look like the ludwig fight. Im calling the fight of the night is gonna be wiman vs edgar.
