Now THAT’s funny. I thought the same thing about this post. I also love it when meat-heads don’t get the subtle self-deprecation in entertainment pieces like this video. How many actually believe Kimbo’s really training Tomlinson here? And how many feel so angry that they need to run out to their favorite MMA site and bash Kimbo by throwing out the names of ANY heavyweights they know (or clearly don’t know…) who could beat him.

IMO what’s REALLY funny about this video is that Kimbo KNOWS the meatheads will run and blog anonymously on threads about it, while he’s laughing all the way to the bank! I find it funny that someone would take a stand against Nike for an advertisement like this. We are talking about a company that has been eager to pay millions to coaches and professional athletes to endorse their products that are made in sweatshops overseas. Seriously man, they wouldn’t even agree to pay a modest wage to produce their products in the U.S. and you’re getting bent out of shape over them using Kimbo in an advertisement. I’m all for people not buying Nike, but if it’s because of an ad like this–that’s just laughable.

I went to college with LT, graduated a few years ahead of him, but our time there did overlap a little. He has always been a quiet, humble, respectful, hard-working kid and stayed that way after hitting the NFL jackpot. I can’t for the life of me figure out why he’s running around with this two-bit thug.
