It’s gonna be a while for Fitch to heal from that fight.
I’m wondering how bad Herring looks. I’d like to see a couple of before and after photos of those two. Fitch sounded a little more respectful of GSP in this interview but in the post fight interview he didn’t give GSP much credit.

Here were my bets:
Parlay – GSP/Maia/Manny = lost $10
Parlay – Brock/GSP = Won $18
GSP = Won $10
So I ended up being up $18 (real money) for the night. It stinks betting such little amounts, but I am pretty broke right now and my wife hasn’t and isn’t able to work. Plus, I had over $100 on Marcus Davis over Swick, and Rampage losing to Forrest REALLY took a toll on my account, I pretty much lost everything… So after that event, I had to re-deposit for the first time, only $50. I won a bet on Eddie Alvarez, I won all my bets on Affliction and my paraly between Affliction and UFN Silva/Irvin. i won by 2 parlays on ElteXC, I lost my $5 parlay on the WEC event but several times I was about to bet $5 on Cantwell, that would have won $15.
I never lie about how much I bet, because there is no need to. So with my $50 deposoit from a little over a month ago, only betting on MMA, I am now a little over $111. I more than doubled my $50.
Two days after I deposited that $50, they mailed me something saying a 100% bonus on $00 deposit. I DEFINITELY would have done that. Normally the $100 only gets you $15 bonus…
The problem before was that I would risk my entire bank roll on every event… Which has changed. Gotta go…

by the way stinky is lying…. He posted his bets on one message before and I looked them over and told him how dumb some of his bets were. He had roger huerta in 36% of his picks and he lost so at best Stinky could probably about break even.. He deff did not make 90K+. Maybe if he knew how to bet better he could have won some money, but he put like 25k on huerta and huerta in both his parlays… too bad you almost gained respect till you come in saying how you made money on a fight which you already posted your picks and you got killed in…. by the way only way he broke even too is if he got those fake odds he always posts like he got GSP as the underdog… lol

I was one of the guys…I don’t take it as candid, saying that he took too much damage to his eye in the first makes it seem like if he didn’t he would have won…Come on…It’s his job to prevent getting his head caved in in the first place. I’m not looking to kiss butt, but give credit where it’s due. The other interview in my opinion comes off a little worse than this one. I was referring to the post fight interview and not so much the post fight press conference.
I missed the post-fight interview, but I think Larson showed that it’s hard to be composed after that. Your body is all hyped up and emotional after winning/losing.
And maybe he’s just being honest? He got hit hard in his left eye several times in that first round, it WOULD make it hard to see GSP afterwards. He got hit that many times because GSP is “so quick” and called him a “great world champ”. That other stuff about him trying to make it seem like he’d have won is in your head.
I sort of like Fitch now. I used to think he was overrated, but not anymore. And he just tells it honestly and doesn’t try and act super humble or anything. Just tells it. Maybe GSP wasn’t the strongest opponent he’s faced.

If Penn comes in shape, I see a 5 round dec. win for GSP. If Penn doesn’t come in the best shape of his life, GSP will get a GNP victory in round 4 or 5. I just think Penn has better stamina and does better at 155. Lesnar always seemed humble so far, that is until after the Herring fight. Lesnar acted like a dick after that fight. He needs to work on his ground skills. He had Herring in so many bad positions that he should have ended that fight several times!

Hey Stryker, Pat figured it out pretty easy but let me break it down for you. IMO if Penn comes in this fight in the best shape of his life he might push GSP to a decision. If he gases (at 170)like he has in the past then GSP will end the fight before the bell rings at the end of round 5. This meaning that I think the fight will not go to the judges and will end in round 4 or 5, maybe sooner. I also meant that IMO Penn is in better shape and has more stamia at 155 than he does at 170. Now did you get that????????
I wouldn’t call him a good fighter either. He’s just so big and powerful he’s impossible to move. It was pretty clear that he didn’t know what he was doing at all. I don’t hold that against him, but his idiotic conduct afterwards reminded me of elementary school.

I don’t care what he was reacting to. It’s not ok to do a lasso motion while you have a guy’s back and then get up and laugh at him when the round is over. That along with grabbing mics and referring to yourself in the 3rd person… Jesus- someone please teach this guy that what is entertaining/standard in the WWE is not ok in MMA.
Frankly, I think Lesnar can act whatever way he wants. They all can. I have seen many fighters do very similiar things. That is just the way things are. I would rather them be arrogant dicks if thats what they are than do all the politically correct b.s. Was he disrespectfull to herring…..absolutely. I really think that he intended upon being that way. I think he felt disrespected by the way Herring was acting before the fight especially the comments to Dana, and he got disrespected after the fight for it.
Another way Lesnar can act whatever way he wants is simple, you can say he layed and prayed(eventhough he was landing knees and strikes on the ground all night long), there is no rule that says you must finish opponents(that is what they have judges for), he dominated herring as if he was the coach and Herring was an 8th grader, and the biggest reason why he can act the way he wants hate him or not everyone that truly loves MMA will watch his next fight to see how much better he has gotten and what he does.
The real deal is that if he stays calm as he did in this fight learns a little more BJJ and continues to improve his standup(which in both his UFC fights has been impressive as he has knocked both heavyweights being herring and mirr to the ground in one punch) he actually stands a strong chance of being the UFC heavyweight champ in the future.
did u not hear what Brock said about his post-fight antics? And Dana confirmed that there were words exchanged between Brock’s and Heath’s camps and something along the lines of Herring shouldn’t have to fight Brock. This all happened prefight and herring was the one being a jerk about it
Amen to that. Brock lost me as a fan last night. Pushing Herring when getting up at end of rounds and his WWE attitude after the fight. His PR guy better get with him before his next fight. That crap just isn’t real (after fight stuff) People can say he was hyped up, but that looks and sounds like a script from WWE.

I’d like to start putting a little money on some of these fights. Would someone let me know where to go so I can try it out. I got all three of the main fights right on UFC 87. I picked GSP to win by decision, I picked Florian to win by decision, and I picked Lesnar to win. I just thought that Lesnar would have finished him by GNP. Thanks in advance in case I don’t get back on here today.

I’m pretty sure it was his mouth piece. His mouth piece, I think, was half black and half white. I’m pretty sure I saw the black side go flying as well, you just couldn’t see it well because of the dark background.

I was in attendance live and saw that go flying from a little way back. It is funny when I watched what the video looked like and Rogan said he thought it was snot. Then later in the round when GSP is pounding him some more he makes a gesture to the ref to stop it for him to get his mouthpiece back. Or his “snot” back if we go by what Rogan thinks.

It was a glob of the stuff they put on cuts to stop the bleeding. It came off the big cut under his left eye. They had a lot of that stuff on that cut at the start of the round, and GSP hit him so hard that most of it came off in one big glob.
Shit when the GSP vid came on i thought wow, Fitch actually messed up his face a bit…and then i saw Fitch’s face. Looks like he was attacked by a couple pitbulls. I wonder how many pain killers he took before the press conference. Good card tho, disappointed in Huerta’s performance but Florian looked at his best and looked to have a massive reach advantage. I’d like to see Tyson griffen vs. Huerta next. Florian would have to wait to long without a fight for a title shot so i think he’ll have a fight with someone probably in December, not sure who tho. As for Lesner, i feel bad for whoever his next opponent is, probably another punching bag that he’ll beat on for 15 minutes.
