Thank you Mike. I appreciate it. And thank you to Negation, I wish I could meet Gina Carano lol. A dream come true. I was also wondering Mike about that guy who is the youngest. They were playing him up alot huh. I wonder if he has got the goods. Plus like you were saying, "The Fluke" is only 19 years old and has a record of 12-1, that is pretty good, but my question is this, what kind of competition has he been fighting. He looked good dont get me wrong. I think his fight was stopped a little, a little, to soon, maybe a couple of seconds later, because it was stopped so fast you couldnt really tell if the other boy was out or not. He probably was though just from how is reaction to the referee played out you know. I am not to sure about the competition left for Condit at this weight class in this org. I mean, if a rematch happens, which HAS TO HAPPEN, if he doesnt lose his belt, what is he suppose to do, rebeat everyone in the division again. There really isnt that much there to begin with because he has beaten just about everyone.

As far as a Condit vs Varner fight, that wouldnt be bad to watch. I am sorry though, I am just not buying on Jamie Varner, I dont know what it is. I just have this feeling that he is not ready yet for what he has. In 3-4 years maybe, and I do think it is remarkable at what he has accomplished but I dont think he is there just yet and got lucky, with a little ref help, against McCullough. I personally think Varner would get his ass handed to him like he handed Hicks his the other night against Condit. I mean Condit is way to big for him man. The size difference would be remarkable. But I can see Varner moving up in wieght in the future. I mean he is cut as hell and one can only assume that he must walk around larger then his fights you know. Anywayze, sorry to take up more of your time.... Anthony

Carlos has a lot of maturing to do. He is a baby as far as fighting goes. He does not even have his man muscle yet. Miura was a very experienced test for him. It is obvious that He could not fight Penn ot GSP, who can contend with them in the UFC, besides each other? Condit also had a very bad showing last night, death of grandmother and all. Gsp lost to Matt Serra and has been a wrestler since, he is not the same explosive GSP that I used to love. Even Anderson Silva has a crap lost to Dahaitsu something or other. At least Condit stuck to his game plan and tried over and over again, with no quit. Give him 4 or 5 years, so his body and strength can mature to his skill set and he will be a beast. All the monsters in MMA are in their late 20's early 30's. That is prime for males. You surely can not base him not ever being in the UFC based upon 1 showing as a 24 year old. How about all the other fights he has one. How about his win over a much stronger and much more experienced Brock Larson or John Allessio? I realize they have the same number of fights more or less, but Brock LArson and Allessio have fought in much tougher comp. and skilled comp. He is and will be a force to reckon with. You can not count out a fighter because of one bad showing or else 98% of the UFC would be out of it including GSP.

Excellent night of fights.
Condit is good but he needs some more bulk if he does transition to the UFC. As for the arguments that he cant hang with GSP or BJ... uhh who cares no one else can much either. There are a ton of great fights Condit would match up well in. Think Fisher, Cole Miller, Clay G,. Nate Diaz, or Danzig, AJ, Mike Swick to throw out a couple names. He isnt ready to go for a UFC title but he can still make a mark.

I want to see Muira again. Those throws were awesome and clearly they sapped some of the strength from Condit. Big throws of any type will just wear you out.

I did too. They said he was finally able to train full time as a fighter, but for some reason the skills he already had looked worse, and I didn't see any new weapons in his arsenal. He kept throwing the same 3 punch combo, and he would cover his head with both hands when under attack, a move I have seen quite a few fighters use, and I always cringe when I see it. I hope he can train hard and return more polished because he seems like a good guy and an asset to the sport.
