Heath may have the experience edge on Brock, but I just don’t see him winning. Brock is WAAY to strong for Heath.
Not only that, but Brock is going to come into this fight MUCH more prepared than the lat time around.
He has been working with a BJJ world champion, so in addition to his freakish strength and size, he won’t get caught like before.
I see this ending quickly and viciously. Can’t wait!!
Brock, at this point and time, is more than 1-dimensional. His wrestling is superb, and he’s working on his ground game as well. I’m pretty sure he spars some too for his stand up. He should also pretty much improve his cardio for a lot of energy would be needed to keep his big bulk movin’. BROCK SMASH!!

I will say this, It would be great if Brock were to unleash an Arona type slam in this fight, or a suplex or something.
Hearing is a big dude, if Brock slams him, I will become an Instant Fan of his!
It’s hard for me to understand how Heath and other people have stated that Brock isn’t going to bring something that Heath has never seen. Of course he has seen a big wrestler before, but I have never seen a wrestler the size and strength of Brock Lesnar, who can also move as quick as someone half his size. Brock is training with a great camp, and bringing in experts from outside. If he continues to do that he could definately become a huge threat.
Heath said that he doesn’t see Brock out powering him in this fight. Excuse me. Has Heath seen himself lately, and seen Brock lately???
Also, Heath thinks that Brock is just going to take him down and stay on top for a long drawn out fight. Once Mir was on the ground, Lesnar didn’t seem to nonchalant. Nor did he in his first fight against Min So Kim. He was throwing punches from the top position with thier chest pressed together (no seperation = no leverage) and he finished the fight!
VM: Right on the money as far as size/strength. Lesnar truly is a freak and Herring is just a big dude.
One thing that really impressed me about Lesnar was his speed on the mat, the guy isn’t just quick on his feet, he knows how to move into good positions.
There has never been anyone with Brock’s combination of size and speed. Ergo, Herring has NOT seen what Brock brings to the table. He’s going to be on the defensive the entire night until Brock pounds him out.
I like how Heath comes in with a a cowboy hat and trench coat. Get him on a Harley as he enters the cage, and it’ll be like Wrestlmania Lesnar vs. The Undertaker!

Me too. It will be much more exciting if Lesnar wins than if Herring wins, though I like them both. Herring is always in cool breeze mode, which I dig. But fight-wise, I want Lesnar to win, because that sets up more interesting possibilities for future fights, and can create more buzz.
ufc needs brock to win this fight without decision. the heavyweight division is beyond weak. with a lesnar win, at least there is some hope for exciting future fights.
examples:
lesnar vs. congo
lesnar vs. gonzaga
there is really no other fights that are somewhat interesting.
while he is one dimensional he has better physical attributes than most guys in that division. there might be a path for him in fights to beat more well rounded guys if he works at it
Imagine if Lesnar lost, or was released from the UFC, and showed up in an Affliction event? Or much better… in DREAM? He would be absolute icon in DREAM.
I said this in another thread, and I’ll repeat it now… The UFC’s cred would be seriously hurt if they put big dollars behind a guy that is 1 - 2 in MMA, whoever he is. The UFC needs this win if Brock is going to mean anything to them. But I gotta say, Brock needs the win more. He’s risking his new career in MMA on this one fight.
I don’t know if they need this so bad, I think Dana has done this right. Dana can’t and didn’t want to put Brock agianst guys that are bums, but he wants Brock to win without it looking like a set-up. I think Dana really thought Frank didn’t stand a chance and when we won he still got hype out of Brock and also got good media out of Frank for the win. (A big comback yadadada) If Frank lost like Dana thought all was good, but if Frank won then the spin was just as good for the UFC.
What I mean is that no matter who wins the spin will be good for the UFC, they are masters at having a positive media spin for whoever wins, so I don’t think they so much care either way. If Brock wins great, he has the hype and continues. If Herring wins he may get another chance at a title shot if he wins one more. They would hype that so much and remind everyone that Herring was the guy that barely lost to Nogeria and should have won, but he is getting anotehr chance. They put a lot of hope in Herring and I think he has yet to fullfill the UFC’s hopes and with a win that could be done.
Herring is a true MMA figher and Brck is a work in progress. Either way we are interested amd either way we will all watch their next fights.
brock can lose this fight and still remain credible. it depends on the scenario of the fight. if brock dominates for almost 3 rnds and gets caught or gasses, then people can say that brock looked great in only his 3rd fight against a top 10 vet, but just neds to work on his cardio. thats a scenario where brock can lose, but still remain a threat. if brock gets dominated and loses quickly ( i highly doubt it) then his ufc days are numbered. my gut instinct tells me that this could be brock’s big breakthrough.
The good news for the UFC is that they truly don’t “need” him, as long as they have exciting fights and interesting fighters. They “needed” CroCop right up to the point where he got his head knocked off by Magilla Gorilla (Gonzaga). Then they had another interesting fighter to put up against Randy.
sounds like heath knows brocks gameplan, now it’s just a matter of wether he can stop it or not. i like brock, and i feel myself wanting to jump on his bandwagon, but im going to wait and see this fight 1rst cuz herring is a crafty veteran. if brock wins, i will be very impressed. i think brocks stand-up and punching power is being underestimated by heath, but brock definetly doesnt want to be in a stand up war w/heath in only his 3rd pro fight. his 3rd pro fight! and he seems to be the favorite. thats amazing in itself.

Ya I agree as well, its pretty lame to get a sword tattoo, but then to have it the way he does is even lamer.
But anyways, if Brock learned lessons from his last fight then i think he can take this one. He’s a freak i mean look at him! To be as fast as he is for his size is nuts, and never mind his strength.
