Of course Randy would be corning the fighter that trains at Xtreme Couture, Vitor Belfort.

Lindland has always trained at Team Quest with Hendo in Murrietta, California.

Randy trained at Team Quest in Portland Oregon.

It WILL be interesting seeing Lindland fighting with Hendo in his cornerr against Vitor, with Randy in his corner. It would be even stranger is vitor had trained at team quest in the past.

I checked a couple of top 10 MW lists, and Lindland was #4 and 5. Vitor did not appear on either list.

Is Vitor a Top 10 MW? I haven’t look at MW ranking for a minute now since there is really no need to due to Anderson Silva. However, Matt Lindland is always on the MW Top 10 list.

The strategy to this fight is quite simple. Vitor will try to stay standing looking for the KO. And Lindland will look for the clich/dirty boxing and working his ground control.

Vitor by KO or Lindland by decision. As of right now, I’m liking Lindland by decision. He is the definition of a grinder.

everyone should be rooting for Vitor. Why?: its pretty simple. If LIndland wins the fight it will be a boring, wet blanket decision win. If Vitor wins, it will be a highlight KO! Root for Vitor!
