Dude, he works for Icon gym. That is why the title is that way. This is basically an advertisement for the gym and their most popular coach.

More on Coach Chris.

Okay when I first came to ICON, I barely knew of Chris. I knew he was in the UFC, but didn't get to see him on T.U.F. since I was on military deployment, and returned in time to catch the final fight of the finale.
As I stated earlier Chris isn't cocky. He knows he doesn't know everything and won't hesiate to bring in someone to further break down the lesson. I think he tends to beat himself up for when he thinks he teaching isn't up to par.
Chris runs most of the classes at ICON. He is in the gym all day. From open 7AM to pass closing during the night Fight Team Sessions. Chris Teaches the Muay Thai, MMA 101 and Submission Grappling Classes. He also frequently shows up to our Sunday Open Mat Sessions (A great time to drop in 11-1 to improve you No-Gi game and hang).
As Chris ramps into fight mode either Matt Humme comes to us or he goes to Matt Humme, and we are treated to a who's who of guest instructors. One of the sickest nights ever was when Josh Thompson came and ran grappling class. Chris Wilson, Eddie Yagin even Matt Hughes have even come to run class or subbed for a week or more when Chris is out training.
No word on who is coming into sub this time. And I better have made it off the editing room floor in episode 3...

I think Leban has heavy hands and lots of power and he uses technique within his physical abilities. He is very stiff and his lack of head movement is odd. However, his KO record speaks for itself.

lol, if u don't see the 'little' drama in that video then that video suits your tastes, and I don't mean to be offensive, because I do like that video. I just thought the intro of him skydiving, jumping off the cliff with a flying kick pose, the flexing was a 'little' drama. I realize the name of the gym is Icon, but I think the title Evolution of An Icon is kinda' grandoise.

Hey, everyones taste is different, some people like to eat the whole egg, some take out the yolk.

Good Point man. eh it maybe be an issue. but most high caliber fighters these days have their own gyms and when they haven't been signed for a fight they usually have time to run thier seminars plus leben is just a part of the gym staff as a team fight member. if he owned their gym that could be a real issue. when it come to training time im sure icons main coach wil have a good training regiment waiting for him..plus we dont know when this vid was take..we just know when it was posted.

Does this clown expect anyone to take him seriously when he's calling himself an "icon"? And people think he's changed from his TUF days? Oh, for the interviews where he'd declare himself the greatest fighter ever. EVER. The veritable Bret Hart of MMA is Chris Leben.

Bisping is going to knock his head off and I can't wait.

That is what I thought. Also, it seems more like he is on vacation... of course training and living over there would be pretty sweet no matter what. haha
