It has nothing to do with who will beat who. You could take one of the worst HW's and put him in the cage with one of the best LW's. Chances are the LW is going to get SQUASHED. Does that mean the HW is a better fighter? No, it just means he is bigger. P4P is just a comparison as to who is the most dominant against there OWN peers. Things have to be taken into concideration, like level of competition faced. If you have a stacked LW division and a stacked HW division and the LW champ is winning in dominant fashion and the HW champ is eeking out decisions, then the LW is P4P better (even if the HW would kick his ass). P4P rankings are to be fair to the smaller guys. To say a HW is P4P the best is pointless. He would be the best fighter, Period. That’s not what P4P is about. I seem to be getting things backwards. I think you threw me off when you said, GSP is below BJ.
