there is no way fedor got 300k, he was given the rest under the table for tax purposes. fedor is by the far the best heavy weight mma fighter in the world. lets see what couture can do- i predict fedor by TKO in the first round.

It’s great to see the fighters at Affliction getting what they deserve, monetarily. I hate the fact that the UFC makes huge money and pays a pittance to the fighters. I’d like to see the figures: gross profit versus gross fighter payments annually for the UFC. It is rare that the fighters get anything more than 20% of the gross door profit which is regularly around $5 million. When you factor in PPV buys it becomes obscene. If the average UFC ppv event brings in approx $40 million gross in ppv and door profit, the total gross for UFC is around $600 million per year. If you lay this up against fighter payments which in a very generous year is maybe $20 million. The fighters see 3.3% of the gross profit…………. It’s a disgrace………. If you looked at any other well established professional sport, player payments would be at least 10 times this much. It is time the fighters banned together and created a fighters union. My political leanings are to the right but i know when people are being exploited.

what trump is doing is what other huge businesses are doing…if you read the business in mma..the financial part says that ufc had a huge loan for expansion and it only broke even in2007.. so they would be making theyre net income in 2008 only…and thats when the big businesses come in…they would pounce on you because they have the CASH to do so..the ufc was the one who worked hard 15 years to build it (8 years with the fertitas)

now that there is going to be money everybody jumps to it..theyre mission… get the money…offer more for the fighters and the fighters would jump ship..if the ufc resists the big businesses would just compete to piss them off and destroy it basically(imAGINE Hiking the pay and ufc hikes as well to the point both of them are not making any money) thats business

why did sylvia get paid 800,000? i was there, and he didn’t connect with a single punch. in fact, he didnt even throw a punch. he got beat up for 36 seconds and made $800,000 for it. thats the lamest thing i’ve ever heard. fedor should have been making that money, not sylvia.

tim sylvia better be giving that money back, in my opinion he didnt earn it.
