This has to be the heaviest (lbs) card in MMA history. Has to be around 5000 lbs total.

I dont understand the “Affliction is gonna fail!” talk… The powers that be in this company have obviously considered the fact that fedor costs more than they are going to get in PPV’s and ticket sales, and they are still going through with it… are they just dumb? obviously not… they are running a very succesful clothing company and probably have plans for the future with this thing… whether it be just a gigantic advertising opportunity for their clothing line, or perhaps to show what sort of match ups theyre going to have as a company, and tone down their fighter revenue in the future.

Affliction clothing wont fail, Affliction MMA will. The reason Affliction doesnt care about loosing money is cause their in it for the clothing line. Even though this is a great card, what are they going to do with the 2nd card?

You must mean LOSE by first round ground and pound. It will actually be Bobalu by 1st round submission.

Fedors parents probably had to tie some meat around him just so the dog would play with him. I still wonder if Dana is paying Tim some money under the table if he KO’s Fedor??? That said, LETS GO BIG TIM!!!!!!!

Comment by BNF
2008-07-18 18:43:51

LOL… I wouldn’t put it past Dana. I know your still a Randy supporter and if Tim wins the entire Randy crusade is meaningless. If Tim does win maybe he will pull his head out and come back and fight Big Nog… Are you going to buy the PPV? If not where will you watch?

I was sort of wondering what Affliction could possibly come up with next. We’ll see. I also wonder why Fedor thinks he’s worth so much when he doesn’t pull a huge draw? Why not charge something reasonable until he gets a fanbase?

I was at the weigh-ins everybody keeps saying how Fedor has no fan base the arena must have only been filled to 1/10 of it s capacity but it sound it like there may be a full house when they annouced Fedor, Tim didn’t even get that big of a response but he got alot of boo’s. It must of suck for him everybody got cheered except for him.

It always cracks me up when Tim Sylvia is at a weigh-in. He ALWAYS sucks in his flabby gut. Just look at the pic. He’s totally sucking in his stomach.

Not only is this a better fight card than any that has ever taken place in the UFC. It’s got more pale skin an body fat than any UFC card in history. This might be the chunkiest card in MMA history!!

Seriously though, Tim’s body is disguisting. And Rizzo is gonna KO JB again, EASILY

why do promotions always make a spectacle out of fedor’s fights. fighting these huge circus freaks is eventually gonna take its toll on him. goin in to this card i’d have rather seen 6′8″ timmy fight 6′6″ aleks, what a match up that would’ve been, but aleks hands are twice as quick as timmeh’s. it don’t matter much now though seeing how aleks is off the card.

I wonder if Josh Barnett is still pumped full of anabolics like right after he beat Couture for the Heavyweight belt in the UFC and then tested positive, lost the belt and Dana White kicked him out. Instead of the Baby Face Assassin it should be the Steroid Face Assassin.
