Machida is a good runner, so I think he will escape the more dangerous but slower Thiago…I think I’ve seen a little version of this fight in the Florian-Huerta fight

i dont get it why you hate his fighting style

is it beacause hes not a dumbass and run into punches like most fighters ? and if you look at machida he isnt that Bulk up so his main defense is evading so tell me how can it be boring seeing a man dodgging most of the attacks of his oppenent ?

I do not understand how so many people say Thiago Silva will not win, I am a huge FAN of Thiago Silva since his last 4 or 5 fights, hes got a BBJ yet he has not needed to use it for a while, this guy might just hit as hard if not harder than the HW’s. I have no doubt T.Silva will kick Machita’s ass, I have said since the last 8 or 9 months he will be the champ at 205lbs for a while to come. Him being so young and so skilled only means one thing…. hes only going to get better, hes like GSP, in the way of getting better and better after every fight. I predict T.Silva will win by KO from standing, or from G & P, but I could also see Machita backing up and up as T.Silva comes a running with his KO power and the ref will stop it from getting his ass kicked. I would like to see T.Silva fight Anderson Silva in a year or 2 at 205lbs, as well as see Anderson fight Fedor at LHW & HW. In another year or two, hopefully GSP will have masacared the WW division, and then move up to 185lbs & hopefully Anderson will still be in 185lbs as champ.

I will also predict Patrick Cote to upset Anderson silva b/c I’m fuct and crazy. Right hand KO…. if Cote doesnt catch Anderson early and many times, the fight will not last much longer than Irvin & Anderson. The only reason I am saying Cote will win, is b/c hes the next guy in line to try and upset Anderson, lol have fun with that…. but thats what people were saying about Serras lucky win, which it was, but he still won the fight, but proved in Montreal he was lucky and got spanked. I was there and it looked like a grown man beating up a child, I loved it.

In only one of BJ’s losses was it absolutely clear that he was beat. That was Hughes 2…

Against Pulver, majority decision (I thought BJ won, and that was one of the first MMA fights I ever watched, so the fact that I am a BJ fan now didn’t play into that.)

GSP, split decision. clearly could have gone either way.

Machida , the decision was unanimous, but the fight was still pretty close.

Don’t count it out, if Thiago flys out there and Machida does a step and strike a few times it’ll get Thiago to back up. Thats basicly how he’s confusing everyone. He’s got some good back peddle going and clips you when your coming forward. It makes fighters not want to come forward and for agressive fights like Franklin who don’t care and come forward anyway, when he catches them while they’re coming forward he can put them on the ground. The guy doesn’t have KO power but he likes to hit you when you can’t roll with the punch and it can KO someone like Franklin. I see Lyoto winning this one maybe by TKO in the first otherwise it’ll go to decision.
