Ro-J, come on. If it’s true that you have been watching mma for that long, then you haven’t paid attention. Fedor would do the same and has done the same to any and everyone. His strikes are unconventional,but extremely effective.

I’ve watched Fedor since the inception of Pride. I’m sorry you take everything for face value. It would be easy to accept every professional sport to be honest and be blind to athletes taking steroids, baseball players using corked bats, ref’s taking bribes, boxers taking dives. – I’m sure you’re the same guy that thought Kimbo Slice fairly beat James Thompson.

I’ve watched Fedor before sherdog had fighter profiles on their website. Until the upstart companies have their mainstream guys start losing big events, I’ll always speculate. The UFC lost millions on a Crocop vs. Couture fight. If there was a fight to be fixed, the UFC would have fixed that fight. The UFC has proven that the underdogs will win…the other orgs haven’t. Until they do, I still won’t take it for face value.

I dunno JV.

MMA is a business. Its an upstart business to boot. The UFC is successful, and has a proven track record of popular fighters losing to virtually unknown guys. Remember when a non-mainstream guy named Anderson Silva beat a hugely popular Rich Franklin. Or how about GSP losing to Matt Serra. Or how about some guy named Gonzaga kicking the head off of Crocop. If there was a fight to be fixed in the UFC, Crocop vs. Gonzaga would have been it. A Crocop win would have made a Crocop vs. Couture fight huge. So I feel comfortable with the UFC fights.

But an upstart like Affliction. If Fedor lost, they’d be out a possible Fedor vs Randy match. The UFC proved that Tim Sylvia isn’t a promotable fighter.

I’m not saying Fedor sucks…or the fight was fixed. But, if fans are going to take every fight for face value…you obviously weren’t following boxing demise. I also have a bridge in NY to sell you.

Abraham is that you????????? we both fell asleep during those fights hahaha but yeah i wasnt really impressed with that card. Fedor did look really dominiant but then aagain tim sylvia sucks so yeah. It was great to see arlovoski and babulu fighting again but babulu looked like a mess he was out of shape and pretty slopy but did have som,e cool lookin kicks (ill give him some style points). Andrei looked real good against ben rothwell even though rothwell really isnt a top fighter. arlovski needs to be fighting some better people like maybe fedor like u said. that has the potential to create a good fight. but yeah the afflicition card seemed to be real boring. something about the production just made it boring.
