I could see this playing out a lot like Sherk vs Franca did. They only difference is that Sherk is bigger and may have better cardio then Frankie. At first I was leaning tword Franca, but now I’m going for Edger.

I agree with you, I give it to Frankie in a Sean/Hermes fashion, but a couple notches more competitive then Sean and Franca.

I wonder if Frank could cut to 145, and challenge Faber in the WEC? If you play the who’s beat who game he could win. (I know that means very little)

I think Frank could relatively easily out wrestle Faber to a Unanamous decision.

If those 2 guys were to go at it in a wrestling match it would probably be a few pts difference. Faber is the more complete MMA fighter, he’s been doing it longer, I’d have to say Faber would win. I’ve always wrote, after a few loses at UFC 155lbs those that can will drop to 145 lbs WEC and give Faber some great battles.

Speaking of people who could give Faber trouble look at the LW matches for Dream. I’m not sure about Eddie but Aoki and Caol could probably drop to 145 and lay a beat down on Faber

Has Aoki fought any good wrestlers? I’d like to see what he could do against Faber or Griffin or Sherk.

I’m not a big Aoki fan so I haven’t seen all of his fights but the guy is definetly got me thinking he is big stuff. That said again I don’t know if he has fought any credible wrestlers but his next Dream fight is with Caol who is definitely an great wrestler.

Any fight with Frankie Edgart is a war. He’s a under sized 155′r..if he was fighting at 145. fighting at WEC. Frankie would be the Champ.

I just got done reading an interview with Edgar where he says that he is considering the move to 145 lbs!

Smart move. If he wants a belt. Take route 145.
