Griff is the bomb! Going in I actually thought Rampage would win the fight but all the while was cheering for Griffin. This guy has the most heart I have ever seen! He has been a huge upset for many people. His Shogun fight was amazing, and this Rampage fight was amazing. He exposed Jackson’s weak legs. And Jackson completely underestimated his opponent. Griffin is a fine example of what a fighter should be. He will fight till the death or until he is knocked-out, whichever comes first. And the guy has amazing sportsman ship. F every single person that booed him when he won. Griff is the shit! Congrats Forrest.

Rampage might be saying he thought he won the fight but he knew he lost. Did anybody notice the expression on Rampage’s face wheh the fight was over? Or while awaiting the offical decision? He knew he lost.

Something odd about this fight. I feel that Rampage is the better fighter, no taking anything away from Griffin.

Juanito Ibirra said it best you have to beat the champion convincingly and I felt that it was not a a “Convincing” Win on Griffins part

Although Rampage could have brought it more, It also crossed my mind that this fight was fixed, but maybe it was cage rust on Rampage’s part.

Griffin did not defeat the champion, reading all the reviews everyone has a different opinion on who won what round. Which basically proves the point that it was not a convincing win.

Which does not say much for Rampage either!!

I read you type about it 100 times in this thread, you are literally 1/4 of the posts. Did you stay up all night and no sleep on Sunday just to type about it and call people out that picked Rampage to win???

I don’t know about you, but I get a much better feeling when I win money on a fight. Not bad mouthing someone on a message board that you will never meet.

Yes, I was one that was saying that Rampage would win the fight via KO/TKO. ALTHOUGH, I would always include that they only chance Forrest has at winning is by decision.

BW, Forrest was never even close to finishing Rampage in the second. His leg was of course hurt, but not a single one of his strikes on the ground even made Page flinch. He has dominating position, but he didn’t hurt him, outside of the leg kick (which Rampage stayed standing after getting kicked). I can understand making that a 10-8 round, but I can also understand it as a 10-9 round.

The scoring system just isn’t clear enough, and I really think the UFC needs to get rid of the 10 point must system which is designed for boxing. They need to use PRIDE’s system. You watch the entire fight, and write down the name of the fighter that won.
