We all know A.Silva is a Spider-Man fan, I am as well, to the point of having a big japanese style back tattoo of spidey & hobgoblin, anyway, I think the guy just wants to be like his hero. He wants to use and showcase his talents as much as possble and 'be a hero to people' if he can.
