The official weigh-in event for UFC 86: “Jackson vs. Griffin” is set for this Friday, July at 7 p.m. ET at the Mandalay Bay Events Center in Las Vegas, Nevada.

It will air LIVE online via streaming video on UFC.com at this time.

Of course, MMAmania.com will provide up to the minute coverage of the UFC 86 weigh-in, as well as provide a detailed recap of the festivities as soon as they conclude.

Here’s the complete line up:

For those in “Sin City” this Fourth of July weekend remember that the weigh-ins are FREE to attend and open to the public.

And for those who want to make the most out of the experience head over to the Mandalay Bay Events Center bar at 1 p.m. local time and get some autographs and photos taken with Amir Sadollah, Jon Fitch and Manny Gamburyan.

Sounds like a good time.

In addition to coverage of the weigh-in, remember that MMAmania.com will also provide LIVE round-by-round, blow-by-blow coverage of the main card action on fight night, which is slated to air at 10 p.m. ET on pay-per-view (PPV) from the Mandalay Bay Events Center on Saturday, July 5.

Of course, the latest quick updates of the prelim bouts will begin to flow earlier than that at around 8:30 p.m. ET.

It’s going to be a fun night of fights … check us out for all the pre, during and post-fight coverage you can handle.

When will they stop kissing up to Randy and placing boring tyson griffin on the live card. Show Corey Hill who is always fun or melivin guillard whose fights always end early. I vote for Forrest Chuck in Dec!

The ufc doesn’t exactly love couture right now. They probably show Tyson because he is a more known fighter than Corey( who is only on his third fight) and Melvin ( who’s fights end early because he loses as soon as it hits the ground). Not because they are kissing up to randy to show the world how much they have loved being in a year long contract battle.

Damn, I really can’t wait for this card. I am going with upsets across the board. The 1 I am most sure of is Lytle over Kos. I know Kos will try to stand and bang, while throwing those ridiculous overhand rights the whole time. He will get out-boxed by Lylte and then KTFO!

I am also going to go with Cote. His confidence and heavy hands I think will translate into another W. I know Almeida has the sickest BJJ around but, I am not convinced of his MMA game with only 1 fight (a CAN) in 4 years? Was he doing MMA the whole layoff or just BJJ?

And finally, my boy Forrest. No one is giving Forrest a chance in hell. It is very hard to see how Forrest can win. I guess only by a decision? Who knows? The only thing I can think is if Rampage takes him too lightly and comes to fight with his head in the clouds and out of shape and Forrest makes zero mistakes. Rampage was 250 lbs. not to long ago and I thought I heard only 5 weeks to train for the fight? I could be wrong, but that just sounds crazy to me. All I know is I will be screaming at my TV on Saturday GO FORREST, LOOKOUT FORREST, GET HIM FORREST!!!

LOL, nah haven’t seen JV on yet so I thought I would leave him a reminder lol.

I seen his earlier suggestion, something about stinky fingers lol. I need to track back to see the exact phrase but no need because it is sooooooooooo going to be: -

J’I Love Trigg’V (with link)

I aint letting him off with it either.

Everybody should get behind Rampage for that reason alone LMAO

BNF: I strongly agree with Lytle beating Kos, as a matter of fact, I will be betting on Lytle, but Forrest will not upset Rampage. Juanito will have him peaking at the right time. U think Rampage was heavy, Forrest aways walks around that heavy before fights, so it wont be an issue..

If u ever believed me before, believe me when I tel you that Rampage wil break Forrest’s jaw with a hook, uppercutt combo, no later then the 2nd round!

You are probably right, but I sure hope not. I have a little bet with linx. If Rampage wins I have to change my name to BNF (aka linx’s bit%h) for 2 weeks and vice versa except him for 1 month. In retrospect probably not the smartest bet, but fu%k it, I don’t bet money. That is why I will be screaming at my TV! LOL!!!

Not a chance, Kos goes back to the old lay n pray strategy against Lytle. He knows better than to stand with lights out.

do any of you guys actually give goonzaga a chance against mccully? I personally don’t. He was irrelevant before and brought in to lose to Cro Cop. He landed a perfect kick that no one was expecting, I’ll give him that. But somehow that “kick heard round the world” propelled him to title shots and a lot of attention. Now he is right back where he started, and I think belongs…prelims that may not be aired. That all being said, I really want to see this fight, because something tells me it may be exciting!

im giving him more than a chance, i think h’ell win. g.g. is better at standing AND on the ground than mcCully. mccully only beat hardonk cuz hardonk had no submission skills whatsoever. gonzaga is a black belt in bjj and is a devaststing striker at times. whenever the fight was standing in the mccully/hardonk fight, hardonk dominated and staggered justin several times and justin pulled out the old lay-n-pray to win against a inferior ground fiighter. he wont have that luxery this time around. whats so great about justin mccully btw?

Gonzaga pwned CroCop from the opening bell. McCully is terrible. He is going to try to ‘Tito’ his way to a win from Gonzaga’s guard like he did against Hardonk. If Hardonk had bothered to listen to a BJJ For Dummies book on tape before the fight he would have submitted McCully. Gonzaga is going to knock The Insain 1 all over the ring and get the TKO in the second.

Corey Hill needs some TV time. He only has 2 wins but he stopped his opponents both times. Tyson Griffen doesn’t get airplay because of Randy either. He only has one loss, a decision I thought he won, and he is a top light weight contender. That’s why they show his fights. He so boring he’s only been fight of the night like 3 times. Come on ppl!!!

You think he beat Edgar?? You must have been watching a diferent fight then me. And his split decision win over Clay could have easily gone the other way, IMO Guida won that fight. But I too would like to see Hill televised.

This is a very soft card but I’ll probably buy the PPV just for the main fight alone. My gut heavily favors Rampage but I didn’t think Forrest had a chance in hell against Shogun Rua so anything’s possible. I definitely think Forrest earned his shot (looking past the KO loss to Jardine).
