BW I have yet to take the fight, but it was a strange fight, because these guys spent endless hours trainig together. Thompson beat Gibert, but Gilbert woud beat more of the top 10 lightweight fighters in the world than Joshwould.

well i guess gilbert would only be the under to b.j, ishida and thomson now. everyone else he would beat w/ease LOL! did you not watch this fight last night?.maybee moving down to 145 would be a good move. i dont think he could cut it in the ufc’s 155 divison. most of the top 10 guys would own him just like thomson did. thomson did own his rear last night and no disrespect towards thomson, but i dont see him as the next b.j. penn. now if you wanna throw aoki or j.z. in the mix, now your talking. both of these gus would be at least top 5 in the ufc and would be serious threats to all but b.j., but i dont see melendez in this equation. never say never, both dream and elitexc could be kaput within the next year and we could see some of these guys in the ufc or melendez in the wec so its worth discussing i think. peace!
