The only flaw i could really point out was the striking not being so smooth, but otherwise it looked great

i’m tring going to buy a PS3 or the XBOX 360, but i don’t know… all my friends have the xbox, so i don’t kow how good the ps3 is. i know that the ps3 is $449 for the 80gb, and the xbox 360 elite is $499 for 120gb. so i think the xbox is the better buy. any suggestion guys.

Get a xbox 360. You don’t need 120GB harddrive either. There should be a price drop here soon so if you don’t need it now I’d wait till after summer.
If you buy a PS3 you wont have to worry about problems. I know alot of people with xbox 360 and they have always had problems with it, scratching games, returning the console after only 1 or 2 months. So IMO the PS3 is the best one out there, it will last you forever.
you should get PS3 less problems and glitches is likely…always updating issues. PLUS!!! PS3 take advantage of any HD tv system you have got. i would suggets it strongly..i have both 360 and ps3…and 360 i have sent back 4 times..i selling it anytakers? only thing 360 would have on ps3 is the online server support. since its microsoft of course…you get pretty good service but ALOT of flaws and issues.
i heard about the problems with the 360. but i heard they fixed all the problems with the elite version, the 120gb one. idk the new metal gear looks awesome. i’ve been a playstation fan for forever now, so thats why i’m torn. and everyone is talking about the blueray thing, but i’m not going to buy any blueray movies. the reason i’m leaning to the xbox is because all of my friends have them. i have until 09 the figure it out. so i’ll weigh my options then. thanks for the help bruddas!
I’d say get the 360 version only because you have so many friends that own one. If you get the PS3 version, you won’t be able to play online with them.
I’ve got a 360, and I’m on my 3rd box. I’ve given some serious thought if I have to return the one I’m on now to just switching over to PS3, which I dont want to do. the PS3 is great. Played it a lot. But, all my buddies got 360s, and we play online together. But if XBox doesnt get their crap together and get this junk straightened out, I may bail on the 360 all together.
Either way, this game is gonna be equally good on either console. You cant go wrong as far as that goes.
360 all the way, I have the falcon chipset model and have had it since it came out, runs cool and smooth. PS3 is simply an over glorified blueray, nothing more. PS3 FINALLY released a game unique for the system (metal gear solid 4) and well, thats being released on 360. 360’s online community is WAY bigger and better, and come on… Sony has been lazy enough to use the same damn tiny controllers since PS1. 360 is still the better system by a longshot.
Im planning on buying a PS3 in the next few months. If you get an XBOX be prepared to send it back within 6 months and have them take 6 weeks to fix it. 6 weeks is a long time when you’re getting into a good game like GTA. Also the blue ray player in the PS3 is well worth the price tag and the xbox controller just feels funny to me.
Every person has a different story. I have had my xbox since the day before it was released. Mine just overheated two weeks ago. I sent it in and had it back within 9 days. Not that big of a deal at all. I used to be a playstation fan but the Xbox 360 outdoes the PS3 IMO.
i have a ps3 and id say the clincher is the graphics and free online

the main concern with a game like this are the controls, mma is so complex that it is easy to mess something up..
“80+ fighter roster” hells yeah motherfuckers, this game is gonna be awesome.

The physics don’t look too good. The punching is so far from Fight Night it’s not even funny.
that is just a demo or a concept play for the actual game…they always look like that for any game…actually the combat designers from fight night have been hired to develope the fight concept for UFC Undisputed. trust me i know this guy from bungie who’s gf works for THQ…they are getting extremly involved in the user interface for gameplay.

You gotta realize that this is just a trailer and a prototype. There will be soooo many changes and upgrades by the time this game comes out, so personally I’m not worried about the slight “flaws” that you can see now.
The flaws aren’t slight. The game looked like an upgraded UFC Sudden Impact.

Wow – THQ has been around the block it shows – very impressed with the movement, the collision detection and the fact that there are no health bars! Well done.
IGN has a pretty nice first look of the game, if in the outside chance there is online play, you can be sure we’ll be picking this up for 360
I hope you can unlock “drunken bum” evan tanner mode! where he rolls out of a cardboard shanty straight into the octagon! and instead of a belt they just feed him some steel reserve!!!
and for energy, little bottles of bud light appear in the cage and you gotta snag them before they start flashing and disappear…for some weird reason the bud lights only appear when you use Tanner though!
it doesn’t say exactly what the controls are gonna be like, but by the sounds of it, it should be good
lol. hopefully they’ll fix up the graphics like everyones stated and fix what needs to be fixed.
This game looks like it could be really good, they still have time to clean up things like the stand-up, but I’m pretty impressed. Hopefully the game plays as good as it looks.

Yeah the only prolbems seems to be the punch it looks robot like, and when they get hit it looks weird. But Im still very excited for it.
I thought the transitions on the ground were ridiculous. They were passing to side control like it was nothing. Lot of stuff to work on, but I’m sure they’ll get it pretty tight.
i have both get either u choose , both systems good but MMasub you are dead wrong MGS4 is a great game and mgs is my favortie game of all time and in no way will it come on 360 u lamer ….

well i may be off about a release of a game, its obvious you should pop sony’s nuts out of your mouth and learn some basic storage information. Just google blu-ray and max storage and you’ll see.
MAX 50gig storage on a dual-layered disc. so while your best friend told you in the cafeteria line that its super awesome 52gig of buy-a-system-for-one-game-goodness he was wrong. So go play MGS4 instead of double posting
The game is 50GB~ there is an interview with the developer of the game that they had struggled to fit it onto one Blu-Ray disc.
The reason the game won’t come to the Xbox 360 is one of storage capacity. Double layer DVD discs which contain most Xbox 360 games hold about 8GB~8.5GB. That would mean MGS4 for the Xbox 360 would have to ship on 7 DVDs.
It’s not a very good game anyways and might as well have been a movie for the amount of interactivity it has.
Dirty, you’re dead wrong. Consoles don’t adapt to games, games adapt to consoles. That means, they will create games playable in any console they want, and off course they are not dumb to not release for xbox360.
been waiting for a good ufc game for ages but am a bit worried about thq and gameplay. the wwe titles gameplay is crap, they could blunder this but i hope they dont
Honestly, I was expecting more from this game. I Hope the game is not even 20% done so they can make it more realistic. They should have a site where we can give suggestions. As someone mentioned above, where is the blood? How it will be possible for a ufc game without blood. Oh! I know, the game will be rated “everyone” that’s why! I don’t know why they chose THQ anyway. EA sports have done the best sports’ game out there and better graphics as well.
For questions about xbox360 x ps3. Ps3 is better but the problem is xbox360(Microsoft) launches proprietary games (excellent games btw)that will never be released for ps3. And that sucks!
