I really hope their Air the Horn/Lister fight, those guides deserve spotlight!
I agree, they better show this fight!!!!!
oh well does the ufc care what we the fans want?
we’ll see…

this is a good card! i must say although the contestants probably wont make it! only the finalist realy have a shot at staying on in the ufc! the standard is poor!
i really wanna see the beastman fight
I also hope that they will air all the “good fights”
Can’t they edit together the good ones since it will be delayed right?why don’t they do this anyways i mean i want to see good fights i don’t really care who it is i would like to see lister vs Gumby but if its boring then show me a better fight

Big John McCarthy comment’s to the OC Register on the UFC-Affliction Mess.
“I mean, look at that fight. You got your middleweight champion (Anderson Silva), you’re moving up to light-heavyweight to fight James Irvin. What good does that do for him? I mean, (UFC president) Dana (White) feels … obviously he feels there is some competition there with Affliction. He wants to try to do something to damage Affliction. That’s why he is doing this. I look at it and it’s bad for the sport, it’s bad for the fans. There needs to be more than the one promotion.”
“The UFC is the big one on the block. I would never say anything differently until anything really comes about. But to sit there and try to shove a show in on the same date to say come watch. It’s the same thing they did with the Chuck Liddell special (on Spike TV) the same night as the (EliteXC) fights on CBS. It’s like, come on. The sport is big enough to where there can be more than one. There needs to be more than one. The UFC has what 200 fighters signed or 250 fighters? You know what, there are a whole lot more fighters thana that in this world and they need jobs. So there needs to be the other promotions.”
“Thank God, Affliction is doing what they are doing and putting together … honestly, I’m not saying it to say it, it is the best card with heavyweights that has ever been put together by any organization in, at least North America, and probably in the world ever. You’ve got three ex-UFC champions (Tim Sylvia, Josh Barnett and Andre Arlovski). You’ve got the ex-PRIDE champion in Fedor (Emelianenko) and you have other guys. You have Matt Lindland, Vitor Belfort, Mike Whitehead against Renato ‘Babalu’ (Sobral). You’ve got some great fights there. It’s going to be a hell of a card. Go and watch the one live and TiVo the UFC show. That’s what I’m going to do. I will TiVo the UFC show.”
THats why I LOVE BIG JOHN McCarthy! He will go down in history as one of tyhe greatest figure in the sport!
I dont thionk I have ever loved a referee so much in my entire life!
BJM was by far the best ref…Dan is just horrendous. As Brandon Vera said about Miragliotta or however you spell it “That ref sucks man.”
When did Matt Brown ‘move down’? When did I miss that?
You dont think kendall can win this one??
No.
I think he can, I just really, really hope he doesn’t, Tanner is the man.
LMFAO i’m a big fan of kendall’s but he’s def the underdog. maybe i’m just blind but norm the weight ins are on ufc.com but they’re not! lol i’ll look again but if not can someone give me a heads up to where they are (like a link)
My prediction for main event:
David Terrell vs Evan Tanner.
Same type of fight with Kendall pressing the action early and then Tanner going into warrior mode after he takes a bit of a beating as he did against Terrell, Baroni, etc.
No alcohol in his system will enrage him even further, and I think the Okami fight shook out most of the rust.
Tanner TKO 2nd round from elbows in half guard.
My prediction:
Grove vs. tanner.
Kendall hits tanner with a knee in the clinch & drops him. finishes him with brutal ground & pound.
& i keep my girl =]]]
anyone see the weight-in picture of evan? that’s pretty funny.
War Tanner!
cant see amir winning this… CB will probably be alot more careful on the ground to avoid submissions, and he had no trouble getting the takedown in the first fight… CB by TKO or decision!
kendall grove is a 1 lose waway from the ufc.
Uh…WHAT?
mad drummer, thats ok cause Tanner wont give it to him.
is it me or does Riddle look like a character from dragon ball Z lol
whats up between fisher and stephens? the stare down at weigh ins was pretty intense. it looked like they were saying something to each other after too. anyone know the story between them??
I think this is bar none the weakest card ever put together for a Finale.
They only have 7 people from the show fighting. I was hoping to possibly see Mike Dolce, Gerald Harris, Luke Zachrich actually get a chance to fight and attempt to redeem themselves, kinda like the War Machine/J-Rock of last year.
Grove/Tanner will be a decent fight.
Stephens/Fisher will be fight of the night
Amir/CB will be a snoozefest because of CB.
Riddle/Rivera, I dont think many people care about this fight. I am wrong let me know.
Brown vs. Arroyo its either a submission or TKO in the 2nd round.
Mr. nC-17: I agree man! Pretty Weak! Its amazing that out of 32 fighters that started the season, they could only find 7 decent fighters to compete in the finale?
great prediction for bown/arroyo nc17 lol… so matt brown is going to win, or matt arroyo is going to win… thats exactly what i thought!
grove takes the tanner fight
I am going to go against the grain and say tanner gets him with some dirty boxing and gets him down and strokes him out.
for all u who said grove had no chance there u go … he owned tanner, hurt him, demolished that old man… tanner landed maybe 5-6 good hits, took him down a few times (did nothing on top)…
and 1 judge had it 29-28 tanner???? hes a joke, must b same 1 from kimbo fight!!!
30-26 in 3 rds says it all… 808 4 life… nothin but pride in our local fighters from hawaii…
keep the love strong 4 da HAWAIIANS ..
