I agree, he did look timid. That was in front of like 30-40 people. Imagine when he’s fighting in front of 15,000. Good point.

Matt Brown looks to be a stud in the training room and sparring. But you have headgear on and no real worries. Once he’s in the cage; he seems a bit timid. Well; compared to how he trains that is. I thought that in his fight with Amir he looked too cautious. But then again, Amir is in the finals, and looks better than expected.

He did look really good in his two wins during TUF. I was really looking forward to the fight between him and Mac. I was pissed the fight didn’t happen, but I understand rib injuries. You can’t even breathe when your ribs are busted up, its very painful. I can’t imagine having someone hit or kick me there. I think Matt Brown is going to be a lot bigger and stronger that Arroyo though. I’m sure Brown has been working hard on his takedown defense since finding out he was fighting Arroyo again. It’ll be interesting to see how it plays out…if we get to see it that is. Striker vs. grappler. In this case the striker is way stronger than the grappler so the grappler might have a hard time submitting him, maybe. Cardio could be a factor again.

I think Arroyo has the advantage in that hes already fought in the UFC show which is different from the TUF show.
