i believe the same thing for st. pierre right now that he will be as dominant as silva. a fight between them would be real intresting. i wanna say st. pierre would dominate with the wresling but thats what people said about hendo too.

Irvin is a good solid 205 pound fighter, a win against him in IMO could warrant the spider to fight in both weight classes.

I think to compare Silva and Fedor would be hard. Their weights and styles of fighting don't really match up well. Silva is a technical striker while Fedor can just throw some hard punches and has some solid ground skills where Silva is still a little iffy on his wrestling. Anyway your right that Afflictions first card won't be a huge draw. Fedor is not that marketable yet so his first card will be to give him credibility. Fedor beats Sylvia the number 5 HW in the world and he gets his cred back. It also makes him the best HW currently because not only did he beat Sylvia then he also beat the current HW champ in the UFC. And this is where the big draw comes from. I think if he beats Sylvia Couture will be his next fight and Affliction is willing to pay the money to make it happen. Affliction may not have done a good job getting this card well known but once Randy is in the scene it will happen like clock work. I guess though I've avoided convincing you to watch the Affliction card over the UFC one but I say whats the point of watching any card when you can just find the fight on the internet for free? So do what you want, I'll be watching the Affliction fight, I know what Silva is going to do and thats dominate

I think Silva is one of the greatest fighters around and that he'll beat Irvin but I am going out on a limb and saying that Okami is going to beat him. Again I think he could take Okami but I'm just calling an upset there. Okami is almost like the Machida of the MW division. But he's still ranked number 4 in my book as a MW.

I think your off, Okami is the only dude Silva needs to worry about. Cote and Almeda could try to fight Silva but I think they'll end up looking like Leben there. Also its interesting cause Hendo could fight Silva at LHW too, making the fight more explosive and giving Hendo a better chance. Beside that point I'm sure Silva will continually defend his belt against challengers but they should throw the challengers against Franklin first so that way they don't waste Silva's time lol

In case you are wondering what i mean when i say not even top 3 or 4 (yet)etc im talking about fighters that have dominated for an immense period of time so top 3 or 4 im refering to WANDERLEI (dominated for years) NOGUERA and FEDOR!! yes, FEDOR!!!!! HE DEF HAS PROVEN more ...key word (so far). Even if some of you dont agree just because he hasnt fought in 1 1/2, you cant take away who hes beat so far! (hoping he doesnt lose to sylvia as im saying this LOL)

But i really do hope anderson continues to win so he leaves no doubt. Hes by far one of the most exciting fighters out there right now.

anderson is great, The greatest? no, not yet. Not even top 3 ...(yet) He has beat franklin 2 (he just has this guys number) One could say beating HENDO was impressive, but seeing hendo through out his career in pride, I gotta say he def wasnt the usual HENDO im used to seeing. One more dominating win over him would certainly do it for me! as far as his other wins, yes hes beat most in his division(no real true proven standout though except HENDO IMO).

I just dont think hes beat those "legendary" mma guys yet that are at their peak still like the GSPs, the BJ penns, or the lidells, quintons, machidas, or wanderleis to really be considered top dog. Much respect to what he has done so far though, but he needs to fight some of these guys to cement himself now not later. Marquardt, franklin, etc ARE not wanderlei, lidell, machida like competition so time will tell!
