I think this will be a good test to see if silva can hang at 205, but is there really any doubt he can? CB isn’t that great, and I think Amir will beat him again. Hey VM yesterday you made a comment about how your wife would feel about you going to cali with john, that made me laugh, but really, does she know you comment on a blog for mma? My wife thinks I’m a loser for doing so. Hey John, I’m playing in a poke tournament this weekend, 1st should be around 15k, if I win, I’ll meet you at affliction.
My wife watches the free UFC events and TUF with me at the house and goes to the live PPV’s with me when they are in the area. But she usually doesn’t come to my brother’s house to watch the PPV’s. One of her favorite fighters needs to be fighting someone she hates to go out to watch a PPV on TV.
If I commented on this site while I was home, I’m sure that she would be all over me. Hence, I only comment on here while I’m at work, making money! She has no objections to that.
As for my girl, she laughs at me because I blog on this site, but its not like I do it when I am with her so I dont have to hear much complaining. I dont think she has any idea about how often I post though…that will be our little secret! lol
Hey, WTF, If I can post as much as I do while in school, and still get decent grades…why stop Right? This week I am being a real Looser! I get 1 week of spring break, and monday its back to school and what do I do, I basically stay in all week and watch movies and blaze. I have nothing to do. My school’s Athletic Center is closed for the week, so I cant work out or play basketball. My girfriend works 9-5. All my friends from school either went back home for the week or on some kind of spring break, so literally none of my friends are around…..I am bored out of my damn mind! I dont know what else to do? HELP!!!!!
im in college as well! i do most of my comments in class, my profs. are SOOO boring. but i’m off on summer break, so i’m just chillin’. my girl knows i’m on the site and she ALWAYS makes fun of me. i’ve missed out on a few date nights to watch PPV events. so she doesn’t really like UFC because of that. she’ll watch it sometimes with me, but only if i make it up to her somehow. she talks alot during the fights though…

dude…my girlfriend is the SAME way, She makes fun of me for commenting and reading the articles on this site also, she will watch the big PPV, but even then she always talks on the best fights and we usually miss something, thank god for replays!
lol, my wife sees the history, so now I sometimes go private so it doesn’t show. I work nights, and have my son all day, so basically I’m blogging when I should be sleeping. On top of it all, I make fun of her loser cousin from stockton all the time for spending hours on myspace, so I look like a hypocrite! I’d go to affliction no matter what with you if I wasn’t going to vegas the week before already!
By the way, here are my thoughts on JT and TUF. It’s not unfair at all John to call JT an alcoholic, and thats coming from an alcoholic. I;ve been saying it all year, he’s embarrassing himself and his family. I don’t get why they are given alcohol anyways (I wondered this when I drank too). They are their to train, and try to make it to the biggest mma organization in the world! I know, I saw you guys last time say it’s reality…In whose reality do you get to trash a house to the point that it has to be remodeled, or just make a list of things you “need,” leave, and come home to find your stuff magically there! Maybe some of you guys that still live in your moms basement get spoiled like that, but it isn’t reality. The reality of it is that guys like Tim Crueder deserve to be there, period! Sorry Mike, but CB isn’t very impressive at all, and that stupid “I smell shit” look on his face is annoying! Kevin also can’t stand this douche always refering to himself in the 3rd person. And he seems to be just another lay and pray guy, even though he tried to stand with Tim in that fight.
As far as the episode last night, it’s too bad I had to wait all year for a half decent show! TUF is getting a bit old, and the fact that they’re already filming the new season for fall (2 in a year) is a bit disturbing!

I cant argue with your post this time! Alcohol should have no business in the house. If anything Dana or the coaches should take them out to a bar or dinner and have drinks after each fight. Give these people something to do. I doubt anyone would go over board if they were out with Dana u know.
Take the damn Alcohol away from the house and give these people something they can do with their off time. Its bad enough they are cut off from the world and their families, but give them a couple of T.V’s and video games or something. I doubt people will skip training sessions to watch Jerry springer or anything like that!
Could not agree more. After seven seasons, I think it’s time to move away from the “MTV” style reality show. I would love to se more of the actual training, but I’m probably an old fart.
I feel for JT’s family, but that dude has got some soul searching to do. I think Dana will bring him back at some point cause now a lot of the fans will want to see him get beat up.
CB looked so winded in each of his last two fights. I don’t think he’s as good as we all thought, early in the show.
I’m on the fence on who I’m pulling for in he Silva/Irvin fight. Silva’s willingness to fight on the spot earns him more respect, IMO, and it’s a good move for Irvin if he can hold his own.
I have been on a 5 year crusade in turning my wife into an MMA fan. Last night she came in the room and was upset that I had started wacthing the final recorded TUF episode. I AM VICTORIOUS!

Dana has said it before. They put all that stuff in the house to see what the guys are really like. Who drinks too much or who acts out to much, I bet if Jeese didn’t win his fights, they still wouldn’t have brought him back based on his actions. I mean look at Amir, he was there surrounded by all the same things as everyone else, but you didn’t see him acting out or getting smashed.
As for CB, I think he has a ton of potential, remember, these guys are rookies so they shouldn’t be super expierenced. With time and a good camp I think he could be a strong WW because he’s not big enough for MW. In fact only a couple of them looked like true MW, Jesse Taylor, Brandon Sene, Nick, and that’s about it.
Could you picture seeing any of these guys standing next to Rich Franklin or Dan Henderson?

My gf if constantly telling me I need to get a life. While I don’t post as much as you guys on here. I’m always on here reading what you guys are talkin about. Hell I was on here last night while watching TUF. And I think CB is going to come to Vegas with a chip on his shoulder and pound Amir. Its going to be one HELLUVA fight though!
Thank God for dvr my girlfriend and her sister always talk through the fights it takes us 4 to 5 hours to watch a 3 hour event. But at least I got her hooked. At first she hated the ufc but after season 6 she is the biggest Matt Hughes fan. Ever since he said “cusin’ me on national tv” she was in love. I don’t know why.
The guy just beat the PRIDE 205 lb champion in his last fight, and you think Irwin will really give him a challenge or “show us if he can hang at 205″??? Hell, Hendo was both the PRIDE 205er and 185er Champion and he was dispatched with ease as if he was Rich Franklin going for a 3rd shot at Silva. This fight wont be half as exciting as you think it might be, no more than 2 rounds just like every other guy since 2004. When we get to Rampage, Shogun, Wandi, Machida, Forrest, Chuck and company then we’ll talk about fights that will determine something about Silva at 205 lbs. Ill be watching this fight and wanna see Silva fight already (Its been forever!) but i dont expect anything too spectacular, just wanna see ‘em fight!! Glad he’s moved weights though for sure! Excited!!
But did i type “Irein” or something, i dont get it? Or are you calling him Irein, either way i think its a good nick name for him when compared to Silva, just a little Sally! LoL!

HAHAHAHAHA! Sorry dude, that was a waste huh, my not knowing how to spell his name and Kev’s typo were costly to us all, thats hella funny thoug to hear someone else wasted as much time as we did on that!!
WHO IS MORE LIKELY TO HOLD 2 BELTS SILVA OR PENN???
I hope Silva puts on another “10/10″ beat down. It would send a clear message to the rest of the lhw division.
Even though Irvin is not exactly ‘top 5′ quality, he has size, strength and KO power.
Which in my opinion is the main concern with regard to Silva moving up in weight class. If Silva can deal with the size, strength and power aspect of the lhw division then there is not really much else to bother him as he excels in all other attributes.
But guys tell me which match would be better
BJ Penn Vs GSP
Anderson Vs Rampage
(maybe even) Anderson Silva Vs Forrest Griffin
If you could pick one unification bout which one it be? Personally its Anderson Vs Rampage for me!!!
I too would have to choose Rampage vs. Anderson!
while Bj vs. GSP is a close second. I think Forrest vs. Anderson would be hillarious! HIs pin point striking would literally put Forrest to sleep with in the 1st round. Silva dances around a little, while sizing you up, but when he decides to attack, its more like an explosiion.
If Couture were still hW champion. I would also be very interested in Rampage not cutting weight and fighting Couture!
Rampage and Couture would be a right good fight. Since Page is my favorite fighter, I would obviously be pulling for him to smash old man Couture.
As for Silva now at 205, and fighting Rampage? That kind of scares me lol. Like Rampage doesn’t have enough people grabbing at his strap, they have to throw in arguably the best pound-for-pound fighter.

TOms Bombs I am with you. Although I am a big Anderson Silva fan (only a morone wouldnt be) I would be very nervous to see him fight Rampage because I root for Rampage over anyone!
and u r right, Rampage does not need any new challengers, there is alreday a long ilst of top level fighters trying to get a shot at him, no need to take the spider away from the middleweight division! So the F what if no one can beat him in that division, its not up to him to leave, its up to everyone else to step their game up!
Happy to see the Finale between Amir “the mental Giant” Sadollah vs. Cb “the DOBERMAN” Dolloway! Dopberman is actually a pretty good nickname!

Also, if Anderson does descide to hang around at 205, I would rather him give up the belt and let Hendo and Franklin fight over it or something lol.
Goes for me too. I would rather see Silva VS Rampage. I dont think Penn VS GSP would be as close as there last fight. GSP is a better fighter now than when he fought Penn the first time and Penn hasn’t improved has much as GSP has.
Watch GSP’s first couple of fights, any of them (on YOUTUBE) and let me know whats so different about GSP now, nothing is dude, he has always has the exact same skill set since the begining even beofre Penn. GSP’s head games and the way he trips out have gotten worse if thats what you mean; “I wrote Matt Serra’s name on a brick and i through it in da river” While BJ has come hella far since that first fight, with how great of shape he is in, his new focus, getting a 2nd belt, fighting and beating 3 guys in a row at 155 and already getting ready to move back up in just under a years time. GSP got a belt in his next fight after the BJ fight. BJ got his belt 3 fights later and after taking about 7 months off after the Hughes fight . . . Which one has defended his belt successfully??? GSP got his years ago, while BJ just got his a few months ago and has already defended it more times than GSP. But yea man, GSP is the man!! Tons of progres!! Who will he fight next, Serra or Hughes, Serra or Hughes, Serra or Hughes, the same two guys hes been fighting for 2 years minus Kos LOLLLL! How can you determine anything about his progres when he keeps on fighting the same guys dude, get real. Id agree though, Silva/Page is something id rather see seeing as how “George, ya dead!” id rather see something where i cant tell whats gonna happen. BJ BJ BJ!!!
man don’t you know yet? Don’t even menchon BJ PENN in a post, #1 nuthugging Adam G ready to get down on his knee’s and swallow a Penn load will always respond…

Entertaining replies Adam G & ODHGC, I haven’t been on here much lately, hanging out at the WSOP in LV. Always great to see 2 FANS on here battling it out… ODHGC has been around awhile he comes in spurts… get it?.. spurts’..ah’ fergit ’bout it…
Does anybody think Silva will not win this fight?
I think Silva will not quite be the force he is at MW, not just becuase of the size, but the MW division has a good mix of styles, while LHW is packed with a bunch of well expirianced strikers only pretty much, like Anderson himself. Anderson will have to deal with a lot more of “his own medicine”. Not saying he cant, but should be harder.
I really think that some time in this year, you will see Anderson holding both the 185 and 205 belts. I think the only one who might give him trouble is Machida. Before coming to the UFC and earlier in his career Silva competed at a smaller wieght class. somewhere in between 180 and 170. Since moving up to 185 and having to cut down in weight he striking power has improved ALOT. So if he moves up in weight even a little bit more he will probably be hitting as hard as a heavyweight. Combine that with how technical he is with his punching, kicking, KNEES, elbows and his dangerous ground game and I see him dominating another division. Ramapge couldn’t finish Hendo and Silva destoyed him. Rampage has shown a weakness to muay thai clinches and no one has a better or more dangerous one than anderson. I bet Anderson hits alot harder than Machida.
so if BJ Penn moves up in weight, he’ll likely get GSP right away (as he should).
but if Anderson Silva, the most dominant pound-for-pound fighter in the world, moves up in weight, he gets…James Irvin? (cue crickets chirping).
i don’t get it. Irvin ranks no higher than #12 in the UFC’s LHW division (not world-wide, just in the UFC). Silva has everything to lose in this fight and nothing to gain.
imagine if Irvin actually gets a good right hook in and puts Silva to sleep. what’s that going to say about Silva? hell, what’s that going to say about the entire MW division?
This fight is only happening because of extrodinary circumstances (Affliction). Dana had to pull a rabbit out of his hat and he did in my opinion. A very interesting fight that would otherwise never happen.
I was a little pissed at Anderson for a while because of the boxing bullsh%t. I take it all back. What a true warrior to step up and take this crazy fight on short notice.
And I don’t think Irvin will be intimidated by Anderson and stranger things have happed in MMA. Like I said, crazy…
true that, my wife lets me watch the PPV’s as long as their isn’t a flip that house or homemakeover show on hgtv. i can’t wait till we get another tv, damn gas prices are killin me. i love AS because he’s so exciting to watch and i really like the sandman as well but i think AS is gonna take it. i just hope my buddy is back in town so i can watch it @ his place. You mean the segments on differentiating cops and hookers didn’t interest her? She doesn’t want to know how to get drunk putting alcohol in her @ss? Silly woman!
Although I’m a big Anderson fan, I dont know about this move. Im not sure how he would do against the big dogs of the LHW division. I guess Irvin is a perfect test to see where Adersons at. I know theres alot of interesting fights for Anderson at LHW, but why not make the guys come to him in the MW division? I just cant see him being as dominant at LHW.
who did he fight at 205? i forget i think he only fought once or twice before he decided to go down and fight at rumble at the rock, then to caga rage. i think silva will do fine againts irvin…but irvin is a perfect sample of what 205 really is. silva has a good chance to get into contention..but once he gets to the top 5 or 10…i dont thik he will ever get that close to a 205 title..he has a much better chance at 170 lbs.

Hmm, makes me wonder, would Anderson fight Wandi? I know they are friends, or at least were training partners, Wandi was always in his corner during his pride fights and I noticed Anderson was in his locker room after his fight with Chuck showing support..
I am almost certain that I heard A. Silva in a interview (translator) say he would not fight Wandi.

it’s funny how fighters act, a. silva says he won’t fight wandy, wandy says he’ll fight a. silva if the UFC gives him that fight. In the same token, wandy says he won’t fight shogun, but shogun said he’ll fight wandy if the UFC wants him to. It’s all weird with these guys, at the end of the day I think they’ll all fight (as long as they’re not in the same camp, which they’re not).
Silva is a force to be reckon with and he’ll dominate the LHW division too. Rampage went the distance with Hendo whereas Silva picked Hendo apart. Mark my words, Silva will hold both belts simultaneously.
To be honest i could see this fight going either way and wouldnt be surprised by either outcome. Silva has that dominince but Irvin has that unpredictability factor.
say that irvin wins this fight which i dont think will happen what will it do for his career? Will it move him up in the lhw standings closer to a title shot or will he just kinda stay where his is because he beat a natural middle weight?
Irvin is not in the clas of Silva but he is a good thai fighter and has proved he has that highlight reel ko power. This is mma and as we all know anything can happen.
With Silva’s mother recently passing away and him opening a new gym in miami with big nog, moving to 205 and fighting on short notice i think all that may take its toll and i think Irvin has a good chance of winning. My only question is would that earn Irvin a shot at the winner of Rampage v Forest?
MARK MY WORDS: THE SANDMAN WILL KO THE SPYDER - RD1. There is no doubt Silva is one of the best in the world BUT moving up to take on one of the strongest and hardest hitting muay thai strikers in the LH division IMO is NOT a smart move. This is a very dangerous fight for AS whether you think so or not. Beating Dan Henderson on the gound played right into Silva’s game plan and Hendo’s weakness. Not this time. He will engage and strike with a very aggressive Irvin and that is where he will pay the ultimate price. This is going to be the upset of the year!
You’re telling me Hendo’s weakness is his ground game? You’re telling me an Olympic wrestler’s ground game is his weakness?
Come on bro!
Henderson’s weakness against Anderson Silva was the stand up game. Hendo’s good greco skills helped him control Silva in the 1st round of their fight. But, Anderson’s knee met Hendo’s chin in round 2 and that was the beginning of the end.
I like the Sandman. But, Silva’s strikes are just as good as Irvin’s if not better. And, Silva’s bjj is on another level.
i know im gonna catch a lot of shit for saying this but….what the hell. i have always like Irvin even when he fought a HW. i dont expect, but hope he wins. now, let the trashing begin
not even man! i’m freaking pumped for this fight! no matter who wins it’s gonna be freaking sick! well actually if it ends like irving and houston then that will suck. but who knows irving’s only been knocked out like ones and silva hasn’t been knocked out at all so lets hope that doesn’t happen.
The UFC is really intent on trying to make this a non-event with their Free tv event now scheduled to conflict with this card.
It really is a great example of the bullying that is prevelent in this business. (What makes TUF so interesting is locking up 16 bullies together with no schleps to bully.)
The UFC is not happy that they are now facing some real competition in the MMA promo biz.
The UFC’s had a free run in this biz for quite a while, but now look to have some serious competition.
There are some real big $$$ppl backing up Affliction and more & more fighters are questioning their deals with the UFC, particularily the “exclusivity” of their contracts. These exclusive deals really hurt us all, as the fighters can only fight in the UFC & therefore cannot (sometimes) make a decent living. A fighter has a very short “shelf life” & needs to make his dough while he can. In the UFC, a figher may have a 3 fight deal, (prob for some good $$$), but he may not get those fights in under 2 or 3 years. Not enough action for an MMA figher to make it in the biz. The UFC needs to drop its exclusivity for its non-championship calibre fighers.
I think the competition is good for us fans as it will force the UFC… (& other promotions) to put on the best shows possible to draw us to buy. It also forces Promotions to pay the fighters what they’re worth.
I really do love the UFC, it’s brought MMA to the mainstream. But to maintain the integrity of the sport, you can’t have a monopoly.
I will buy the PPV event & record the UFC fight card for later viewing.
Yes I am saying Henderson is not that great on the ground and it showed against Silva. A Greco-Roman wrestler IMO is not the same as highly skilled BJJ black belt. I think he is a better striker than ground fighter but not as strong or on the same level as Irvin’s striking. Everyone picked Houston Alexander to KO Irvin (except me) and look what happened. This guy is for real. Just had some bad luck in previous fights. Anderson will
I think this will be a good test to see if silva can hang at 205, but is there really any doubt he can? CB isn’t that great, and I think Amir will beat him again.
(Comments wont nest below this l
JRandolph: Congrats, that is a big victory in an mma fans relationship!
GetRawbc: Good post man!
Good point. I did’nt know Dana had said that. It does make sense, I’m just worn out on all the insanity.
Excited!!
My above comment was to KEVIN.
irein?? thats funny adam!!
Irein . . . ?
irwin
But did i type “Irein” or something, i dont get it? Or are you calling him Irein, either way i think its a good nick name for him when compared to Silva, just a little Sally! LoL!
Oh LoL, yo comprendo, its Irvin huh, not Irwin. I could have sworn it was Irwin for some reason. Dont know why though, screw it, make it Irein!
Thanks for wasting 15 min of my day guys. I was sitting here trying to figure out what the hell ya’ll were talking about.
Personally its Anderson Vs Rampage for me!!!
holdin the ropes:
I too would have to choose Rampage vs. Anderson!
while Bj vs. GSP is a close second. I think Forrest vs. Anderson would be hillarious! HIs pin point striking would literally put Forrest to sleep with in the 1st round. Silva dances around a little, while sizing you up, but when he decides to attack, its more like an explosiion.
If Couture were still hW champion. I would also be very interested in Rampage not cutting weight and fighting Couture!
by the way, good question!
Even though I was pulling for Rampage’s team the whole season, I think I would have rather seen Tim fight Amir. lol Mental Giant.
Also, if Anderson does descide to hang around at 205, I would rather him give up the belt and let Hendo and Franklin fight over it or something lol.
Good Question! Have to go with Anderson Silva on this one, because my picks for best lb for lb fighter.
1. Anderson Silva
2. BJ Penn
3. GSP
If GSP wasnt at 170lbs I’d say BJ would hold 2 belts, GSP is just 15 lbs to big for BJ and will lay n’ pray BJ to a win, like last time.
Silva is more likely to hold two belts. Penn would not get past GSP. Silva VS Rampage would be a better fight.
BJ BJ BJ!!!
I would just rather watch Rampage vs Silva than watch GSP beat BJ again.
man don’t you know yet? Don’t even menchon BJ PENN in a post, #1 nuthugging Adam G ready to get down on his knee’s and swallow a Penn load will always respond…
Dude, why do you fan bash man!!! Why cant you argue your points and have a debate, instead you call me names. Look through the last 10 MMAMANIA posts and ive probably posted in most of them having nothing to do with BJ. And maybe you shouldnt post anything on here until you learn how to spell, ooops, should i not have “menchoned” that LMAO!!! Its mention ya tool! LMAO!! O damn, YOU got caught!! Newbee!
That’s uncalled for. No need to insult Adam G. Come correct or go away.
“Come correct or go away” when you own the site and you filter the info posted on it, sure, until then you can blow me if you don’t like my opinion
P.S. I really don’t have anything against the guy but christ, how many “BJ PENN IS THE GREATEST FIGHTER EVER” Posts do I gotta read through all written by the same damn person..
And besides, i was more arguing about how far GSP hasnt come than for BJ Penn, but since that was the comparison in the post before mine i went with it. If the guy had said GSP has come very far since his Miller fight i would have been talking that comparison, sorry if i use too many big words for you dude, go get that GED and then get back at me “O damn he got caught” Oh, and much thanks OJR!
Thats your valuable opinion “you can blow me” to OJR and “ready t swallow a BJ load” to me, god i cant wait for your next insightful and knowledgable post! Please, more, more!! LMAO! Get that GED dude, and some manners while you’re at it (”You’re” means “you are” while “your” shows ownership)
Just to change the subject: -
Undefeated middleweight prospect and reigning Palace Fighting Championship title holder Nate Loughran will make his debut with the UFC when he takes on Legends of Fighting veteran Johnny Rees, who also remains unbeaten, at the promotion next scheduled “Fight Night” event on July 19th in Las Vegas
Wow, so the measure of your intelligence is the ability to spell “mention” correctly?? I guess it’s good to set low goals so you can reach them, hopefully you can read this one without misinterpreting what i’m knocking on you for, I don’t have a problem with your comparison of GSP’s progression against Penn’s, my ridicule was that on just about every damn page where there’s a post involving PENN your post is right behind with your nut hugging comments. The whole “BJ BJ BJ!” gets old, go back and read your shit, it’s your own damn fault for making it seem like your in love with the guy..
Thats a good addition, damn that night will be epic since ill be watching both promotions!! 12-16 fights with Fedor/Silva headlining + Belfort, Rizzo, Franca, Barnette, Silvia, Babalu, Whithead, Edgar, Lindland, Martin, with more to come for the UFC card!!! I cant wait!!
P.S. Mr. high and mighty o intelligent one with perfect grammar, if YOU’RE so above this petty squabble then why don’t you just ignore me instead of replying to everything I post? Anyway, I’m done on that note, I got better shit to do then sit here arguing with a damn PENN groupie..
The “BJ BJ BJ!!!” is my trademark sucka!!! Deal with it!! Its to irk guys like you (Irk; To annoy or irritate) BJ Penn is what i enjoy talking about when it comes to MMA, its like basketball, if you’re gonna talk basketball why not talk Jordan. So when i see a BJ conversatio i jump in to inform the uneducated, like yourself . . .
“Penn groupie” LoL, i like that, we’ll keep that one around, trademark it bro, that was pricless LMAO! I enjoy getting sh*t as long as its creative like that, original bro!! Ill give ya that one, nice to meet you and welcome to MMAMANIA.COM, im a regular, they call me Adam G, welcome.
Hmm, got me on that post, unexpected and classy of u there…
I can be an ass or the norm, yes i like BJ Penn, yes he’s 99% of what i choose to talk about on here. I prefer being know as “the go to guy on all things Penn” rather than “#1 nuthugger that wants a load in his face” that all. When BJ completes his legacy i just want people to say on here that Adam G was right, BJ is the best. I wanna lead the charge! If its hugging then so be it, i just think its fan worship and dedication. Again, welcome to the site, the Penn groupie line won me over, mispell (LoL) anything you want bro, i got your back in here.
Anderson Silva will go down as the best. Don’t feel bad though, B.J. is a close second. I just hope I don’t need to take his load in my mouth for saying that.
LMAO!!! Dude, you’re classic!!!! I hope they get to fight one day, i wont even act like i kow what wil happen in that one, ill just root for BJ and hope for the best ya know. Use the 5 D’s on those loads, Dodge, Duck, Dip, Dive and Dodge!! LMAO!! Some Dodgeball for ya!
Entertaining replies Adam G & ODHGC, I haven’t been on here much lately, hanging out at the WSOP in LV. Always great to see 2 FANS on here battling it out… ODHGC has been around awhile he comes in spurts… get it?.. spurts’..ah’ fergit ’bout it…
penn will be the first to hold 2 belts he is the best around and finally wants to prove it i would love to see him fight faber so bad
I would love 2 see silva vs gsp at 185
Does anybody think Silva will not win this fight?
DIE HGTV, WAR SPIKE
lol tat’s my wife’s fav channel too!
So now, my wife is into TUF, but I still can’t get her to watch Manswers with me.
I just cant see him being as dominant at LHW.
dude..he fought at 205 in Pride. He’d played in tha Sand box already..Silva will do just fine.
who did he fight at 205? i forget i think he only fought once or twice before he decided to go down and fight at rumble at the rock, then to caga rage. i think silva will do fine againts irvin…but irvin is a perfect sample of what 205 really is. silva has a good chance to get into contention..but once he gets to the top 5 or 10…i dont thik he will ever get that close to a 205 title..he has a much better chance at 170 lbs.
Penn, GSP, A. Silva, round robin at a 175lb catch weight
WORD! But will never happen except in our dreams, which reminds me, mayb a nap is in order.
say that irvin wins this fight which i dont think will happen what will it do for his career? Will it move him up in the lhw standings closer to a title shot or will he just kinda stay where his is because he beat a natural middle weight?
he’d have beaten the best pound 4 pound fighter in the world… what’s a better fight for him besides a title shot?
He WON’T win that’s the problem.
the Spider has this one won already, I was just answering the question of why it’s in the interest for Irvin to fight him.
If Irvin somehow beats Silva. Give him the winner of Chuck/Evans. - winner gets the title shot.
Round 2 TKO for the Spider
Anderson Silva is the best P4P fighter Irvin is a good fighter
as well but Silvas on his Game 205 Silva his Hits are going to hurt Anderson Silva TkO
Imagine these fights in your head.
Anderson Silva
vs Rampage
vs Chuck Liddell
vs Shogun Rua
vs Wanderlei Silva
vs Brandon Vera
vs Thiago Silva
Man…the 205 division will be crazy if Anderson Silva gets in there!!
Just picture the image of Anderson Silva and Rampage during the pre fight stare down in the middle of the octagon!!!!!
F*CK the rest….bow down to the UFC!
Silva’s hung in the 205 division before, he’s the best fighter in the world.
i know im gonna catch a lot of shit for saying this but….what the hell. i have always like Irvin even when he fought a HW. i dont expect, but hope he wins. now, let the trashing begin
not even man! i’m freaking pumped for this fight! no matter who wins it’s gonna be freaking sick! well actually if it ends like irving and houston then that will suck. but who knows irving’s only been knocked out like ones and silva hasn’t been knocked out at all so lets hope that doesn’t happen.
