ProElite.com will stream the main event Elite XC lightweight title fight between KJ Noons and Yves Edwards tonight after the fight is aired on Showtime courtesy of “Cage Cam,” giving fans an up close, in-cage view of the action.
The Cage Cam is a high-tech camera suspended above the cage that gives viewers an overhead look at the fight. It moves around on a cable that covers the entire cage so the audience can follow the action throughout the match.
It’s a pretty cool way to see a fight for the second time.
This isn’t the first time we’ve seen the replay of a main event fight through the Cage Cam. Sho.com also streamed the Frank Shamrock and Cung Le Strikeforce middleweight title fight on March 29 immediately after the Showtime telecast.
It’s always interesting to see any kind of action from different vantage points. This could be worth a look, especially if Noons and Yves give us a fight like Frank and Cung did back in March.
As always, ProElite.com will also stream five of the untelevised undercard bouts live starting around 7 p.m ET. Those five fights are as follows:
140 lbs: Mark Oshiro (10-1) vs. Chris Willems (1-1)
160 lbs: Mike Aina (9-6) vs. Kaleo Kwan (8-8)
265 lbs: Chris Barnard (1-1) vs. Lolohea Mahe (1-0)
160 lbs: PJ Dean (1-2) vs. Dean Lista (1-1)
135 lbs: Russell Doane (1-1) vs. Dwayne Haney (1-0)
Remember that ProElite.com will also stream the non title bout between Icon Sport Middleweight Champion Kala Kolohe Hose and Robert McDaniel after the event as well. The fact that Hose isn’t on the main card is a testament to how good some of these other fighters are.
This is going to be a very entertaining event tonight from the Blaisdell Arena in Honolulu, Hawaii. To catch the main card action tune-in to Showtime at 10 p.m. ET tonight (June 14).

thats been done by pride.. but i wouldn’t mind checking it out
Strikeforce did it for Cung Le/Shamrock also.
I wonder if Dean Lista is as good as Dean Lister?
BOYCOTT EliteXC!
man i hope yves edwards whups that muppets ass
Look at Nick Diaz’s face on that picture.priceless!
He’s wondering why he’s not in the main event - or he’s sad because he just finished smoking the rest of his stash and can’t get anymore..
I thought that was Eddie Munster. My bad.
LMAO!!! thats some funny stuff.
Dave “Pee Wee” Herman looked real sharp in the Miami EliteXC event. He’s fighting a big strong guy tonight - If he wins, I could see him fighting Kimbo and the match being a good undercard event.
I posted this in the results but not sure if there wasnt already to many comments because it didnt go through….
Ok, long time reader, first time poster. Definitely love the site, and most definitely love MMA.
Now, I will probably get alot of flack for what am about to say, but I know alot of people are thinking it and might not be saying it, and others are saying it and others are bashing them for it. But seriously you all. Elite XC is pretty much garbage. Except for a very very very few fighters they have, the others are not all what they are cracked up to be. The fights almost appear to be staged at times and the fights themselves are like an almost nobody fighting a total nobody. Plus the antics that are seeming to happen after every card now is not the fighters doing this. This is the man who runs it doing this, he knew it was going to end up being like this by bringing in the Diaz brothers after the fight. I mean, from Noons perspective I would be kind of pissed at the promoter for this. He should have had time to have his minute to shine but instead they let the Diaz brothers in to cause a possible altercation that would hopefully save the card. This is a joke people. Seriously.
The fighters… well lets just say, I really didnt see anyone that could possibly compete with other fighters from others organizations. With possibly the exception of Rua, and Feijao. But personally I dont think that Rua would dominte any fighter in any other organization like he did tonight. Really wasnt worth watching. Sure the fighter he faced had great JJ credentials but he has never really foght anyone, NEVER on television at all. JOKE. Feijao I was impresssed by. But he is trained by a UFC true fighter, lol. Noons, I am still trying to see how he gets his ass kicked by a thug with a one hit wonder and they can rally behind him like he is great as hell now. Diaz, fight was a joke, they looked like they were in more of a slapping match at first and honestly, the guy he was fighting was a joke, pure counter striker and not even a good one, and he had problems with that guy at first. Herman, was alright, but seriously a man who doesnt take MMA seriously wouldnt make it anywhere but in Elite XC. Enough said.
I could go on and on about how early the stoppages always are in Elite and how bullshit Kimbo is but this is by far way to long already so I am going to go ahead and end this, probably will get anough flack just from this. But personally I am with some of the posters here and ALL of my friends, boycott this WWE want to be and watch a real organization like UFC or WEC or if you are real lucky DREAM….. Anthony
PS, only realy bright spot of Elite XC is Gina Carana ( I think that is how you spell it). Looks good and can give out a whooping. Kind of sucks when the only good thing a MMA organization has going for it is a female in a sport that just came to light.. :/
