Ooooohhhh, I can’t wait!
I can, this has by far been the worst season of TUF! I know nothing about the fighters, and the quality in fighters has gone way down. There are thousands of guys that train and compete…you’re trying to tell me that this is the best, cream of the crop that there are? Please, you can go to any local show and find guys a lot more technically sound and willing to learn than 75% of these clowns. My guess is Jesse fucks up, but thats just because he’s a drunk! I’ve heard Tim is hurt, so I’ll be waiting to see what happens, but I’m almost as done with this show as I am Kimbo Slice.

I have to agree completely, man this season sucks, like most people here, I can’t tell who is who, except for a few, and the technical level is ridiculous, they are either brawlers or high school wrestlers, that are so seriously out of shape that most can’t last a single round.
Matt Brown vs. Jeremy May, Brown is advertised like this psycho badass guy, but he is a complete and fucking pussy, I’d beat him up stupid in a fight, much like Jeremy was doing until he showed what a pathetic excuse of an athlete he is running out of gas after 2-3 minutes.
Jesse is just retarded, not to mention pumped up on so much steroids, that i can easily see him doing that, he probally even uses some poison to cut weight much like Alves used to use, just look at him and Tim Credeur, not to mention he has no work ethic, eats shit and drinks retardly, it’s just so damn obvious, also he is the Arona of wrestling, his fights are extremelly boring and he stalls in a dominant position the whole fight.
Also I’m tired of Dana and his high horse, the same season is the same shit, creates and marfim prison where he throws 16 fighters in complete isolation, with no contact with their families, wives, kids, etc… then when something goes wrong he like to preach, in TUF 5 he kicked a guy because he jumped a wall to meet a girl, big deal, many people can’t stand to be locked up like that for that long, so he will kick people out for whatever offense, the house trashing well, he can’t kick 10 fighters out of the house, plus that makes for good ratings.
Boy do I agree with you! Except for the four letter words…My hook into UFC was the background stuff. If I just want the fights, I could watch any MMA show. Just like all the other ‘pro’ sports the bigger they get, the less they listen to the fans only the $$$
Prob don’t want a chick point of view but I watch the show and is a big fan of the MMA especially now women are fighting..(Gina Carano and others) however, I agree with this show being the worst.. i feel like i am watching a reality show about high school guys being idiots..yeah jesse is a retard but I dont think thats the twist or big ordeal..if he does then we all saw it coming YEAH FOR US!!!

cmon chris, put me in a house with these guys, I would train!! Not drink, ruin a house, act like a moron and embarrass myself and my family. That said, thats not what I dislike about this season. In previous seasons, we knew the fighters, heard their stories, watched them train. Not to mention that they had some skill! I agree with the other posters, these guys are over hyped wrestlers and posers! Mac brown being the best example! I thought this dude was going to be the baddest guy on the planet the way they were hyping him up, boy what a let down.

Well I guess I would agree on most of the posters, but not that the show is bad. A. were 7 seasons in its imposible that the show is going to be great every year its no different with any other show, i.e. American Idol. If the show is so bad dont watch it. B. I absolutly HATE wrestlers as a jits guy there is nothing more anoying than a wrestler who will just lay on you for 5 min. i.e. Jesse Taylor! Who thank the good lord he was the one who got kicked off. All though I did feel kinda bad for him, emphasis on KINDA! I dont really see how wrestling relates to MMA but whatever. I really dont like CB either, but I will say that at least he tries to stand up and strike a bit, he isnt a great striker but its admirable to see him mix it up. I was kind of hoping to see Tim Credeur fight Amir. Unfortunatly Tim who is a jui jitsu black belt? Which I kind of question at this point. I mean CB was open almost always for a submission as was Jesse Taylor. I think Matt Riddle is stronger fighter than Jesse or CB. I dont know maybe he just wasnt in it but whatever. There were a few good fighters i.e Amir Sodollah who before the show did not even have a pro fight. was an underdog in every fight and is great on the ground or on his feet has an iron chin and a TON of heart. he deserves the title, the contract and I think he has a great futurte in the UFC. he sorta reminds me of a laid back Carlos Condit, I dont know how anyone could not like Amir.

The truth is partying and drinking is the only way these guys have to release stress, especially when your living in a house with a bunch of dudes, away from your family and you train half the day. If we didn’t give them simple pleasures and the choices to do what they want (within limits) then this would be like the russian gymnastics camps, where athletes train in a military like setting everyday. The fact is alcohol may make some fighters better or worse, but they are grown ass men that should be given that choice, if they ruin it because they drank then it’s there own fault, and how do you expect to regulate it when these guys are employees of the UFC? I think banning alcohol and stuff like that is just retarded, those guys don’t even have a TV to watch, they can only travel to the training center then back home, their freedoms are pretty limited as it is. I think the show is fine the way it is, to be honest i think this has been one of the better seasons of TUF. There’s been a LOT less DRAMA, they show them in the house less than half as much as they did in previous seasons, and there has been twice the fights. If you like MMA and not Drama filled reality shows, then i can’t imagine how you think this was the worst season so far…

Good call it does like Quinton is getting heated so could be CB. But I would much rather it be Jesse since he is a pretty boring fighter. His fight last week was pretty much a snooze fest. But this feels a little contrived or perhaps fake. Dana please don’t turn the UFC into the WWE. As for this season of TUF it may have finally turned me off the show, I mean Dana talked about it being different the only difference was the first episode and this extended episode. Way too much emphasis is placed on the drama of having these young immature fighters cramped in a house together and drinking. More actual fights for next season please. I understand that a large focus of the show is to attract new attention, but I feel it might be alienating the ture mma fans, just my opinion though.

unfortunetely i’ve watched every TUF episode to date, the last three seasons have been pretty sorry, if i wanted to watch “real world” i’d turn mtv on. They need to do another “comeback” season, not only to reward the REAL fighters but to increase the quality of the fights on the show, and the past TUF fighters aren’t that impressive to me, think about it danzig,bisping, even nate diaz, if you put any of those guys againt the top 5 in their division and they’d lose.
i like danzig and diaz but they’d lose to griffin, guida,penn,sherk,huerta etc.
I think Diaz is on his way up! Kurt Pellegrino was one of the top fighters in the lightweight div before he lost to Diaz. He almost had a title shot if he didnt loss to Stevenson.
I dont know about that those two are very solid. Diaz just beat Pelegreno who is right up there as a top 5 LW.

I am not sure who was slated to fight on the undercard but I believe it might be one of those two. Because a week or so ago on the UFC website it had listed a fight with two of the guys who lost already and now that fight isn’t listed.

We’re told that they lock them in and seclude them from the world so that they can focua on training. Great! One problem, you don’t lock a fighter in training, in a house full of free liquor. Yeah, I know it’s for ratings but this is getting stupid. First things first…..i dont think it can be jessie that gets kicked off to obvius like some people have stated. second no one from the card that has been announced (grove/tanner/rampage/griffin etc) are getting kicked off becuase all thses fights have already been set up and they are all training for them for a couple months + the wouldent have announced a fight if it was just going to be cancelled. so with that im going with someone from the house just dont know who yet. but if i was to hope i would like to see cb get kicked out…hes a good fighter but he has no personality/hes not a bad ass…look at every great fighter they all have solid personalties – penn, forrest, rampage, tito, chuck, silva, gsp, coture, pulver, etc etc etc….you gotta have a face to be in the ufc…you know?

if you dont want to get spoiled on who goes home then please dont read the rest….ok i am a press and news consultant for mma news and fight promoter. i have breaking news and its a real dozy i contacted cb and because its me who is writting this he wont get in trouble but jesse and jeremy got in to it because may called cocos mother a jewish whore. in the limo there was a scuffle that lead to the window break. the scuffle did not last long but both may and jt are both kicked out because locals claimed they received cuts from the glass and threatened to press charges. the limo company settled for about 450 dollars of damage and a disclosed amount of money for the locals and limo company.tim comes back to take his place and there are on going issues with may coco and the ufc

i don’t get why people keep saying you can’t lock 16 fighters in a house toghter.i am an asprining fighter myself and i lived in a house with 11 other people.12 total.it was hard but i belive i am better for it.alot of fighters in the same house trainging totghter is more common then you think.even when i was in asia training mauy thi i stayed with a family of 7.unlike the the fighters on the show i trined in a run down gym with lil eqiument.but everyone there had heart.unlike the fighters on the show when they drink,it shows they are there to have fun.so my point isfighters liveing toghter is a very common thing.sorry for my miss spelling i cant spell good.thats why i am a fighter.

Needless to say I wanted them to win and well they did so it was even beter.
Celtics over the Lakers – not much to say but I knew they would win it in six D wins championships. I mean this was a no brainer, unless you have no brain and you a fan of the worlds most over rated player Kobe Bryant, you saw this
coming.
I guess the control here is that I really hoped the penguins would comeback and upset the redwings but you cant win em all, I really didnt have any stake in this but it would have been cool. I put this in just so people know I am not perfect.
Faber Vs. Pulver – probably one of the best fights in MMA history I cant beleive it went 5???? are you kidding me, I mean WOAH and it was on TV which is sweet! honestly I had Faber to win but I love lil evil….Who can take out the california kid???
and well Sodallah over CB, which I have to say I really thought he would win it after watching him fight Matt Brown. Then when he beat Gerald Harris well to say the least I felt like he was the best fighter on the show. Great fighters or athletes in general just find a way to get it done and thats what he does. I am surprised that people had him as the underdog….what show were you guys watching?
I also have a blog that I pretty much predicted the ending. The only thing I missed was that Tim and CB fought. I just kinda wanted to see Amir and Tim fight.
