Rampage CANT lose this fight! His weight isnt a big deal because Forrest probably weighed just as much if not more. Rampage will be good to go in July and Forrest is in for a REAL ASS-WHOOPIN!!!

When is Forrest not in for an ass whoopin? He always get’s beat up but he’s got the energizer battery, and keeps going, which is why I think Forrest will pull off the upset in the later rounds.

I love that video every time I see it lol.

I really hope Rampage smashes Forrest quickly and doesn’t take too much damage, getting sick of waiting so long to see this guy whoop ass.

Maybe, but Rampage will make the weight. Unlike EliteXC, which has no respect for the sport of MMA, if the UFC or any other league had a fighter miss weight 6 times in a row, that person would be released. Gina and EliteXC have no respect for the sport. It’s ridiculous.

Ah fact! i mean look at lutter! on the scrap heap!
If Thiago alves misses 170lb once more he’s gone! even if he is one of the top welterweights in the world

The only way forrest wins is by some amazing flying knne or head kick. If jardine can catch forrest rampage will do it easily. Rampage by 1 or 2 round tko.

I still think if Forrest can get out of the first round it will be a good fight. Rampage will still win, but it’ll be competitive after the first round… if it lasts that long.

Why doesn’t he just fight at HW ???

Comment by ViolentMike

Because he was just flat out, out of shape during the taping. His broken hand was just finishing up healing from the Henderson fight, and he knew that because of the injury and TUF that he would not be fighting for a VERY long time. Juanito will have Rampage in tip top shape for this fight, just like he has since they teamed up together.

JOHN, I wonder when the best time to bet on Rampage will be. Like I said, the odds have been changing. He opened around -290, but last time I checked he was down to -240. -240 is pretty darn good! THat means that over the past few weeks, the majority of the best have been on Forrest. I REALLY hope that that trend continues, so the odds on Rampage will keep coming down. Can you honestly even imaging gettin him at less than -200. Like -180. Awww man, that would be great. But I would hate to see it got back up to -290 and go up again before the event. I wonder of the -240 is the time to jump on it.

Actually, I should probably shut my mouth / stop typing because some of the TUFster might not bet on Forrest now…

I got a little something up my sleeve for the TUF finale as well. I can’t wait to see the odds on the matchups of the cast members. If CB does get upset by Amir, I will be betting on CB to win against whomever he’s fighting. And, if he’s in the finals I’m betting on him as well. i could have much simpler said, that I will be betting on CB at the TUF 7 finale no matter who he faces.

When to bet Rampage is a very good question. Not so sure what the correct answer is.

I bet $200 on Lytle already and will probably wager something small on Almeida.

Diego Sanchez is a lock for the Finale. I will proabbably also end up betting on CB no matter who he faces. A parlay with Diego/CB will be SWEET!!

Geez….he doesnt look that big either….must be his gut, I saw a video and he was looking pretty Liddellish..Hey doesn’t Brock weigh in at 265? Rampage is only 15lbs lighter than him??? wtf thats crazy! I know Forrest has admitted to weighing up to 245 when hes not training.

Lesnar walks around 290 I believe

Comment by naturalshadow
2008-06-12 00:54:42

Yeah, I am not sure exactly what he walks around at, but I know Brock cuts to 265. He could fight heavier, but that is the heaviest you can weight and still fight in the UFC.

I think he’s exaggerated a little bit with his weight

Comment by ViolentMike
2008-06-11 13:25:16

yeah, he’s only 6 feet tall. All of his extra weight was in his belly. If he was 6 feet tall and weighed 250 he would have looked MUCH different (larger)

I thought he was looking pretty big on the show, but hey, he was always wearing clothes so it was hard to tell.

As far as the fight goes, it’s hard to see how Page can lose this. The big thing is power. Forrest doesn’t exactly have it, and Page has a noggin like no other (not to mention heavy hands of his own). It’s hard to watch the old Wandy and Shogun fights where he’s taking blow after blow to his head and he just keeps stumbling around until the ref has mercy on him. I get nervous for Wandy to go at him again. Now that he can defend the knees, there aren’t any holes in his game for Wandy to exploit.
