You're telling me a guy that big cannot finish off a defenseless Kimbo in crusifix position given a whole minute of throwing elbows?! Do any of you realize how much damage real elbow do from that position?! He wasn't landing elbows. It was the flat part of the forearm that he was gently tapping with and coudln't have landed them any softer than he did! Can anybody tell me honestly that it looked like James Thompson was trying his hardest to finish Kimbo?! He was STALLING! And I'm supposed to believe that his ear can swell up that much in 1 day?! Coincidentally, THAT ear pops during the fight! Dude, these are WWE tricks that they are pulling!! what about the part when right after smith/lawler fight was stopped, shaw comes out into the ring announcing to everybody that they will both get their fight bonus $? So the end of the fight conveniently works out in Shaw's and CBS's favor making them look so angelic setting up the rematch. Give me a break, the guy is a caniving weasle. Did you hear what he said when Thompson asked for his fight bonus at the postfight conference? I'm not claiming to be an expert on mma. But I've been in my fair share of fights, know what a punch feels like, and know the difference between fake sh*t and 2 guys going all out. These clowns are insulting all of our intelligence, shoving this propaganda down our throat, and worst of all: messing with the integrity of the fight itself. I could care less about the production of the venue: rappers, dancers, lighting, gary shaw, etc. But if the fight is not real or being rigged, I'm spitting it out and calling a spade. U judged the event as a whole, I just looked at the fights....We all know that the fighters werent exacvtly top 10 mma fighters, so I thought they put on decent performances.....If the Ref's and the doctors would have done their JOBS it would have been much better. Round 1 was REALLY close but I thought Kevin did more damage and was slightly more aggressive, but in the secon round I thought it was all James.
