This was probably the most boring press conference I’ve ever seen.

What a lame-ass press conference. I’ve seen previous EliteXC events and they seem pretty well organized, but this… What a complete waste of the fighters’ time. I sure hope that Saturday’s event goes smoother than this! But then again, WTF, it’s FREE!

The press conference was FUBAR from the beggining. If the actual fights look and sound this way it is gonna totally suck.

I believe this press conference is just a sign of things to come…really bad things to come!

Wow. I am glad that others feel like I do about the presser.

That was absolutely just painful to watch, and just as, if not more painful to try and listen to. Even the fighters looked like they were ready to go to sleep. What a mickey mouse production. I hope the show doesnt give mma in genral a big fat scar on Saturday.

That sucked. Would have been happy if the camera just panned over to Gina and kept it there the whole time and mute Gary’s annoying voice.

I don’t know if this has been noted, but Gary Shaw has too much of a boxing promoter’s flow for me, which makes me irk.

You keep hearing how these other orgs are differant then the UFC, but until I start seeing champs Vs Champs or Cash Cows vs Cash Cows then its all talk.

Cung Lee (strikeforce) Vs Robbie Lawler (EliteXC)
Champ Vs Champ

Kimbo (EliteXC) Vs Fedor (Affliction)
Cash Cow Vs Cash Cow and i say that loosely about Fedor

Everyone always talks about We need Champs to fight each other, but it hasnt happened yet.

Affliction probably will run like Boxing. And only there champs will have contracts that turn exclusive with the option by Affliction to allow them to fight outside of Affliction most likely on a co promoted card.

that being said Affliction is going to lose there ass on show 1.

The worst press conference ever. Takes me back to the dark days of UFC, circa 1993.

And Gary Shaw saying “Pray for us on Saturday”, could certainly be a sign of things to come.

In my opinion, AFFLICTION has already passed EliteXC up in quality by far.

OMG!!!!!!!!!!! this was painful to watch, no organization what so ever. And 7000 tickets sold is nothing, and is BS that the ticket sale was hurt by showing it in CBS, it’s because nobody wants to pay that price for an elite event, I rather go to a UFC event with that money even for a weak card. I’ll probably DVR the fight so I don’t have to watch the boring commercials and watch “ultimate Iceman”.

They might as well have lied about ticket sales.
