Dana White makes Don King look like a saint. Under Don King over 90 boxers made over a million a fight. Tyson made an average of $10.6 million per fight and this was over 15 years ago.
The UFC makes roughly $50 million per event and pays its fighters a combined salary of roughly $1 million. Its probably a safe bet that Dana White makes far more per event than the combined salaries of all of the fighters. His efforts to hide the fighters’ salaries and the owners take further supports the underhanded nature of the UFC.
A recent UFC had 700,000 pay-per-view customers, which translates to $38.5 million and that does not include the gate or sponsorships like Harley or Bud Light.
Coture – undeniably the nicest and most professional of the fighters – stood up for his rights and got sued by the UFC with Dana White leading the charge. Someone needs to rescue this sport from the likes of Dana White. The fighters should unionize and Dana should go back to teaching aerobics.

The Machida vs. Ortiz fight was the most expensive one of the night. It cost the UFC a combined $310K for both fighters. However, I bet Lyoto got a fat bonus check for beating Tito for Dana. I thought it was hilarious how he pronounced his name “cheeto”.

Rilly, that this comment just solidifies the reason I sometimes don’t scroll down. Do you think BJ has fought no one? He’s never been ko’d or cut, while only fighting the best. He dominated Sherk, do you realize sherk’s only 2 losses were to Matt Hughes and GSP, where he was outweighed and undersized. you my friend should sit back and watch some old fights, then come back with a little more knowledge!

Aoki will get beat by BJ. I know that people get impressed by fancy groundwork, but BJ beats people using what he calls “advanced basics”. BJ has the BEST guard and the BEST passing skills in MMA, bar none.
