I would like to see Sherk win the title, but I think it will be very hard. I also want to see Wandy beat Jardine. As for Tito and Lyoto, I just hope the fight is more exciting than what I am expecting. I don’t really care who wins.

Question:
Has it ever happened, in any organization, that the champion didn’t make weight in a title fight?
What would happen if the current champ weren’t to make weight in the UFC?
Not that i know of but maybe someone else has more knowledge than me… But if any current ufc champ didnt make weight i think dana would wanna kill him!! Maybe even strip them of the title.. dana dont like that shit and i dont blame him, when your at this level there is no reason you should not make weight..
Can you imagine if that happened? Dana would explode. There would just be a smoldering little crater where Dana once was……. But seriously, I imagine the belt would be stripped and said champion would be shown an exit from the UFC so f in fast his head would spin.
A situation like that happened with Matt Hughes and Joe Riggs. It ended up being basically an exhibition match. All because Diesel didn’t make weight.
To my knowlege off the top of my head, I can not recall it ever happening in the UFC.
PRIDE didn’t really care all that much about how much you weighed…

If Wanderlei wins, I’ve heard he wants to fight Chuck again in December. What do you guys think? I personally think Chuck would be game for it, but I think right now hes title hunting. If Wanderlei wins, he should fight the winner of Machida/Ortiz. Either of those would be great to see.
